What a Rotten Deal, Mom!!!!!! :- (

Kitties!  Katie sent Mom over here to see if there was anything I needed and there was!  There were three comments that needed to be moderated. What did she do??? Well, I will gladly tell you when she did!

Ruby, John and Cecilia had made a comment and Mom, who must have left her brain lying on the pillow when she got up this morning...was poised with the mouse and deleted all three!  DELETED!  Got that Mom???  D-E-L-E-T-E-D!! ALL three and then, going back to the page I meowed a few days ago, she kept refreshing  the page wondering where my new comments were!  D-E-L-E-T-E-D mom, that's where they were!!! What a maroon!  Sheesh!

What she made ME, Admiral, feel like!! Now I have fewer comments Mom!

Want to see what she did in mine and Katie's room?

That's the crocheted Katie on the sunflower!

Just saying our sorries for the (mindless) deleting.  Mom needs trainin'.

Whew...A Whirling Dynamo, That Katie!

Kitties!  Katie Isabella has taken up residence very near by...but she put out the word she wanted to know where Spitty and Austin,  and Nellie Bellie were, as she wanted to be in the same neighborhood, failing leaving me by myself, that is.  I told her I would just go with her.. not to worry.   I can easily change the location of my Cafe.  It is very popular, even among the woofies and I don't see a problem.  Katie shows up and sets about circulating among the tables, slow blinking the mancats, and showing what a tart she can be.  She and Nellie Bellie get together and trade secrets back and forth.  Nellie asked her about Kat and about Kozmo.  But even a tart like Katie has honor.  She just smiles, gazes toward home, remains quiet for awhile and I think, like me, she is making plans to go see Kozmo and handsome Kat.  Me and Spitty used to do that when I flew away, and I missed Spitty so much. (we know where our earthly home and our Mom is.)

Katie has a difficult time not being with mommy, it's true.  I think that's why she's in the Cafe trying to knock all the mancats dead.  No pun intended.  That happened to me too.  I come all the way up to the Veil that separates mom and me, and taught Katie how to do that.  We can get close to Mom, and she can hear us sometimes.  Mom is having a hard time of it.  We were so lucky to be loved and cared for so much while we were still in our home.  We want Mom to know we felt the same exact way.  Remember when there were times when both of us brought a real mouse into the bed and woke mom while we were trying to re-catch it?  Oh, the good times rolled.  What was that Katie??  Well, yeah, I agree, it was only a good time rolling for me and then, for you.  Mom...not so much.

Hey, just sticking my nosie and whiskers in.  Katie will do the same on her bloggie.

Here I am, I still sail the seas.  I have a special mancat in my Quarters, waiting for me.

Katie Isabella is here! She is! With ME!!!

Every furriend, my sisfur is here with ME and our brovver Erich come over, too, as well as everyone else we know at the Rainbow Bridge.

Love to have gotten MY claws into that nubbly fabric!

I am afraid  that when Spitty finds out she's here..."whoa Nelly" as Mom says.  The two of them will go off and take HOURS! She was a mancat killer...soaked them up like a sponge!  Oh!  That was ME she was saying was a mancat killer.  My bad.  Heeeee.

Katie said she got desperately sick Saturday morning and the Dr. didn't know what in the world happened.  Mom tried to feed her breakfast, and as usual she chose not to eat just then, so Mom brought it into our room, where she keeps the computer!  Well, that was when she not only refused to eat but she got extremely restless, nervous if you will and went everywhere-- leaking from both ends she told me.

I heard from Katie that Mommy will keep all of our most special personal toys that we adored and played with for years,  but give all the rest which is plenty, to the Shelter in town, with some of my and her food dishes.  Treats and a few grooming items as well.  She has one beddy that both of us used and is keeping that, but the big beddy she bought for Katie when she was a 15 pounder, unfortunately was thrown into the bin without her thinking.  That's a shame. Katie said she impressed mom's mind to keep the Sunflower stand she bought Katie late last year.  Mom wants something precious to Katie to still be here.

Hey, I just wanted you to know Katie had safe passage~ as did I, of course, and say that she knows Mom is grieving  hard.  She, as did I, regrets she can't slip into Mom's mind right now to help.   She hates to hear the crying and see the tears; when that never happened while she was there 'cause she snuggled mom out of sadness..  Just like  me when *I* was.  Never.

Katie and I-- and Erich sometimes will be partying together and running our Fish Cafe we have jointly now that she's here.  Smells great around here when it's grilling.

Love you each and every one.  We will all be together down the road and boy, is it going to be loud here~  Wooooo.

Almost Christmas Day...

Kitties! I was talking to Spitty the other day...he is as handsome as he ever was...my gosh!  And we were saying how wonderful it was to be with our mom's all the time and what fun it was for Christmas as they always got us something we would enjoy.

Same happens on the Rainbow Bridge.  Santa visits us all there and gives us loves, hugs, treats and toys.  We are never forgotten by our parents or by Santa.

And we visit with one another...remember Christmas's with our beloved families.  Some of us try very hard to get to our parents beds while they are sleeping and rest on them...hoping that dreams of us will suffuse their dreams while we are there.

Me...I am thinking of times in my lives...

Merry Christmas everyone.  I will always remember you.  XO

I Would Love to be Here Again

Kitties, it is almost Thanksgiving.  Me and my spouse Nik will celebrate at the Rainbow Bridge together but we wish we could be with our Mom's again to give them lovins and to sneak some turkey from the table.  Now me, I love me some corn kernels so I'd get into the corn too.  Well, I love me some gravy too.  Np sweets.  Mom would never feed me any because it isn't good for me, but too, I never developed a sweet fang.

I had such a loving and wonderful time while I was here.  I got very ill the last year I never felt well any longer...but I was sure loved.

Staying Happy Thanksgiving  with lots of love to all of my furriends here and at the Bridge with me.

Ahoy! Angel Admiral Here

My goodness, the Bridge is so busy since I got here in 2011.  I can't believe it.  So many of my friends from here and Twitter have met me and more have come.  We  who are here always wait at the Portal to help them through, and to explain what is happening and show them unending love when they get here.

I've kept an eye on Katie Isabella...I come and see her often in her dreams.  I get her to snuggle up tight to Mom so I can have some of her warmth and love too.  I miss her so much.  I know she misses me.

This may be hard to learn but Mom and brothers thought to put me with my human brovver Erich when he went to Heaven two Septembers ago.  He loved me so much!  And I loved him.  Heck, he even shared a little bacon with me when Mom made it for him for breakfast for all those years he had visited on the weekends while off work and then, when he lived here for a few years.  But when push came to shove, Mom kept me here in the bedroom where I could stand guard over her and Katie while they slept.  Mom still has all my things in the heavy oak library card case she bought 10 or so years ago and brought home. It only has my things, card, whiskers, furs, Cards  from friends for when I went to the Bridge, so many things of mine .  But a favorite toy he gave me went with him.  A small tiger. I was honored.

I keep watch over Mom too.  She still looks like my mommy.  I'm glad she had Katie to turn to.  I chose well.

Carpet Digging! The Backstory in my Defense!

Kitties!  Mom and I read in Brian's blog about the kittens, Macy and Maxwell digging up carpet to give to their Mom for Mother's Day.  That was wonderful of them to think of 'cause carpet is so expensive.  Mom started in right away about how *I* dug up OUR carpet too!  HA!

Mommy worked a 12 hour rotating shift.  She got up at 0325 in the morning when she was on day shifts and 1525  (3:25 in the afternoon) when she was on midnight shifts.  So..when she came home at 0630 of fmids, she fed me..went straight to the 5 minute shower she took..& came out.  Logged onto the computer and helped me for about 10 minutes to make a blog.  Grabbed something to eat and...the barricade began just before she hit the sack about an hour after she came in the door.

Barricade? Yes.  For the first weeks I came to live here, while Mom was on mids, Mom shut the hall door.  I couldn't bust into her room and wake her up and so on.  She had to be wary of light coming in there too, as she can't sleep with light.  Nap, yes but not the sleep one needs to work.  Well sir, it didn't take but a few times of blockading me out of the rest of the house that I took matters into my own paws.

When she got up one afternoon to go in on mids, after she opened the door she saw that I had tried to dig my way under the door.  What in the world else wouldn't a reasonable cat do? I dug and dug and couldn't get under the door!  BUT she saw my hard work and decided to lay car mats in front of the threshold before closing the door.  That worked- but she felt badly.

So.  She used the flat iron she uses to hold the door open, to fix it so the door was open one cat's width.  Then she progressed down the hall and closed the bathroom door. (light shining into mom's bedroom from the window in there across from the bedroom)   Then, the spare room door.  Again too much light...She left our bedroom door open one cat's width, and laid something heavy on the backside of the door so I couldn't open it farther.

She lined the windows with aluminum foil so that it was black in the room.  I got to come in and sleep with her any time I wanted to..and we lived happily ever after!  It's so hard to put up and take down it stayed in place years until she no longer had to deal with shifts.  That was YEARS.  The brothers were invited to the great unveiling (taking down the aluminum foil) cleaning the windows, adding the only curtains in the whole house..and daylight in our bedroom!  WHOA NELLY.

Mom said she had a ceiling fan installed and when the electrician went in to do it..power was turned off for his work...he was shocked to go into a totally blackened bedroom.  Mom explained why.  She also had to hold a flashlight the whole time.   So..when she told Brian *I* pulled up carpet, I had a darned good reason.  I was trying to sleep with my mom in our bed!

I Have Come Out Again to See you.

Kitties!  Angel Admiral at your service.  It's good to be back home again.  I am proprieter of a popular Cafe at the Bridge and needed a few days off from making BBQ and frying fish for all my customers.

Mom was looking for some pictures and ran across some of me I hoped you woldn't mind seeing again.  I miss being with my mom a lot but one day, she and I will see one another again.  Oh and excuse me if my furs are fragrant with BBQ tastes.  When you are there taking care of the food for the cafe, it sorta shows..or smells!    I have a good staff of other angels now who help.

Here I am...remember these?

What you feel like when you have been to my Cafe at the Bridge.

Me, and now Katie sure know how to lay on Mom's side.

After I got my name...from MSN Live Spaces, Paul.

UM UM Good!

Hey! Look at ME!

I was playing with mommy one morning when she had yet to finish making the bed.  I know she had no way of finding me, so it was unfair of me.  I blend in so well...and she was unable to find me.  Someone somewhere smooched the mysterious lump and skittered away quickly.  I had a nap for an hour or so.

Miss Stacy, my best furriend Ms Stella O'Houlihan's mommy, made this for me!  I loved this blankie so much.  This is when I very first saw it and sniffed all the catnip she put in.  LOOK at my pantaloons and

I went to the bridge wrapped sweetly in  this blankie and mommy has it carefully put by for ever and ever and ever.  Silly mom won't even look at it becuse it grieves her so badly.  I always have to whisper to her at night and tell her I am happy with all my furriends and SPITTY is with me every second.

See you again sooner Kitties!  XOX

Time Passes so Quickly

Furriends, it's me again.  Mom hasn't offered to help me lately what with thinking of other things.

This isn't an anniversary of anything, but Mom was going through some of my photos and found these two.  I know she could not look at them for a long long time,  but she is able to now because of the outpouring of love she (and I) got when I took wing and flew away to the Bridge to wait for mom and all my brothers.

This one of me in Pepe's Golden Pram,  making my journey to the Rainbow Bridge.  It was a special concession, and I was allowed to have my husband, Nik with me...just so far only, and Mariodacat too along with Holly, a dearest friend. And you can see Pepe in his golden helmet too.  They were all, except Pepe and Holly who lived at the Bridge, dropped off just before I landed there with Pepe my escort.  It was a kindness to allow my best friends to come with me to keep me from being afraid.

Here I am in Safe Harbor as the  writing on the anchor says.  Knowing love every inch of the way and even before I left.

Checking on Mom and All of You

Kitties!  I was going to say "I'm back" but I've never been away--- at least to my family.  I'm always in memory and their hearts.

It's been a hard 3-4 months for the family and all my furriends.  Where Mom and Katie live has very few cases all this time.  And most people go ahead and try to keep safe anyway.  Mom and I are pretty much alone on here except for Brovver who is in special circumstances.  He is usually here 2 days a week.   Other Brothers are rarely here but they too are in relatively good areas if you can call it that.  Mom and her friends don't visit in home and Mom has an arsenal of masks.

Here's is how I am handling everything still, here at the Rainbow Bridge.  I whispered to Katie to do the same down there at home.  I was trying also to talk her out of being fearful.  She isn't now..so I will work on  her other things.  She had some medicine that was very bad.  See?  I am relaxing up here  the same as I did down there with mommy.

Here I am Kitties, on Mom's side of the bed.  None of us kitties ever like our side it seems.

My Anniversary

Kitties, today is the eighth anniversary of my leaving mom and my brothers to go to the Bridge.

Katie and Mom wrote about it on Katie's blog so I won't do so again now.  But I wanted to say how much I loved being here with Mommy for fourteen years.  I tried so hard to stay longer.  I tried with all my power, but I could not do it and I told Mom I had to slip away for then because I was so so tired.   But a few weeks after I flew away, I was busy finding a little girl for Mommy--- to stay with her and wipe the tears.

I left Mommy and I left my husband, Nik.  We are together at the Bridge though, since 2015.   #Our love will last forever.
Here is Nik's and my wedding photograph.  Together Always and Ever now.

KITTIES! I am here again!

Can't keep a good Angel down!

I notice that mom is thinking a lot more about me these past months.  Not sure why, but she is.  Of course I am there in my urn on the dresser, and she sees me every morning.  Katie used to sit up there with me but nowadays she doesn't want to leap that high.  Mom is just as glad as she doesn't want Katie to hurt her now older knees and stuffs.

Mom thinks that our pawrents never really "get over" when we leave them.  I am just around the corner...just beyond the periphery of vision...waiting to walk up the bed and sniff her eyelids...checking to see if she's in there.  I'm in the closet hiding...curled on the top shelf or in the blankets.  I'm under the table, behind the chair, my goodness, I'm everywhere.

Here I was one Fall morning  in 2010 when it mom lowered the thermostat and allowed the front door to be open a few minutes for me to enjoy the sunpuddle and all the TV that was playing.

Thank you for coming to see me.  XO

A Pretty Girl is Like a Melody

Mommy says I am a pretty girl.  Still.  Certainly I was.  Now she sees me in her memory,  and her memories of me are fresh and beautiful, always.

Looking at deer TV and...I got them told!

Guarding against raccoon and possums and other cats!

Mom still misses me but I am waiting for her and Katie Isabella, right along with my fur sibs from a long time ago.

One of My Fave Places

Kitties, I used to get into our bed more than my comfy beddie in my room.  Even more than the couch, the back of the couch or anywhere.  Well, wait.  I did love the love seat too.

But here...mom would come home and find me here.  Oh, not for the day.  I had work and things to do.  But when I took a time out...I hopped up on the bed.

I used to lay with my head on mom's pillow many times.  She just thought that was the sweetest thing ever.  I was always on her side of the bed just as Katie is now. No one sleeps on their own side.  Hopping John used to sleep in the middle between the shams.

Mom thought I was the most beautiful Tortie ever.  She loved that white puff on the end of my tail.

Sunday, May 5, 2019

Kitties, I swear, I must have thought I was a super model or something,  I never minded the flashy box at all.  Here are a few memories.  ❤️  Mom and Katie hope you like them, and recall some of these.

I used to sit and torment lizards at the front door.  I never minded other kitties coming to my door.  I never said a word.  This is when I was well, as you can see by my generous back view and lush coat.  A Tortie of many colors

Only a year or so old. Posing for one of my favorite brovvers.

I was a bag purrson through and through.  Mom loved rustling the bag and getting me to shoot out of there like a comet!

I Loved to Play

Kitties, I loved to play.  All the way until the last five  or so months that I was here.  Good days to remember.  And mom, along with and my favorite brothers, were my family.  I loved them all.  I loved seeing you each every day and coming to see you too. We had fun, you kitties and me. Some of our conversations would start mom laughing and even at work, she'd be smiling over them.  Spitty and Rupert and Boomie...they were my mancats.  ❤️ Back in the day.

Mom kept our treadmill in the living room.  I kept my figure using it as you can see.

This pose got me so many smoochies that woke me up, I almost laid a bitey on her.

Really Mom?

Kitties, I was asking mom what on earth she meant by saying *I* spilled water on the wood kitchen floor while she was away on midnights!  How dare she.  I had a small pawty, granted, and there was perhaps a bit of a pawty atmosphere going on, yes.  But to say *I* did the spilling was not very nice of her.

She said my small carefully chosen group of furriends were a gathering of thugs!  THUGS!  Just because there was a still to this day, visible swelling of wood from the 17 hours  of standing water before mom got home from her shift and overtime--- and so on, and just because there were some kibble crumbs here and there and just because we used the treadmill in the human litter box area does not excuse calling us thugs!

I was busy being the hostess.  I can't watch everyone all the time.  She grumbled because she had to clean up she said, before she could go to bed!  Sheesh!

Mom Remembering Me.

Kitties!  This picture was taken close to a year before I flew to the Bridge.  Mom loves this one for special reasons.  Here it is taken  on a day when Mom was sitting in this chair and I was lying on the arm of the chair napping against her...and we shared our warmth with one another.

When I flew away to the Bridge, a dear Twitter furriend came to my bloggie and took this picture and made my farewell picture for  Twitter and Mommy after I had passed.  It brought tears to mom and favorite brother and some of our friends who saw it.  Mom said she still has a difficult time looking at  it.  It shows Anipal love for me and for mommy.  I was and I still  am a member of the #WLF and always wore and still do wear (in my Twitter account)- my beret proudly. This beloved photo created for mom shows me in a cradle; my beloved #WLF beret hanging on a post of the cradle since I was no longer with mommy, and me there in the cradle, much loved.  I was tired, very very tired when I told mom it was time for me to leave her.

I am well again, and enjoying playing and running.   And there is sunshine every day and soft nightfall to enjoy.

Katie Isabella is also an active member of #WLF and wears her beret too...all the time.

XX Kitties and woofies.  I have a Cafe to run up here.  I sail the blue sky and blue waters to catch my fishies!
