We Remember

We remember this terrible day ten years ago. We will NEVER ever forget. Not ever. Robin asked me to send this as a remembrance.

Saturday Tortie Times..all the news, all the time

Have you ever settled comfortably on your mom or dad at night..say, on their tummy or even their chest and you trustingly fall asleep just to find an earthquake has happened to rudely jolt you awake? Or a hurricane with wind and heaving mom-scape? I have Kitties, and it's an awful thing.

Mom always reads a bit before turning out the light and last night after I had fallen asleep I found myself being jolted and jostled...slipping off except for my anchor claws embedded into her PJ's. She was making that sound.."ha ha ha ha haaaa". Every time she made the sound I was jolted up again, coming down only to find myself thrown back up again until she finished. Something in her book made her laff she told me as she steadied me and apologized-as well she should! *I* felt like I was on a trampoline like those I have seen on TV with kids jumping on them only it was my own mom's chest! Talk about ROOD! And seeing me bobbing up and down on her chest as she laffed made her laff even MORE, kitties!!! It was a nightmare!

Then there are the times when this awful hurricane comes and sweeps over me while I innocently sleep! This horrible CATastrophic convulsion of the bed-scape occurs and the wind sweeps over me blowing my furs back. She calls it a sneeze! I call it a CATastrophe! STOP that! Do you have to do that in multiples? She'll sneeze 8 or 10 times in a row and I am CATapulted practically to the ceiling each time! NO idea why I put UP with this stuff!

9-9-09 MO Cats Day

I can't imagine not talking to my fellow blogging kitties each day...or not starting my own day of napping and eating without learning how my furiends did with their napping, playing and eating. And being loved. I know what joy I bring to my mom when she is coming closer and closer to love on me and give kissies and I start purring louder and louder as she gets ever closer. That gives her a big smile and I have to endure squillions of kisses, but it's worth it. And what kitty doesn't want to tell their kitty furiends that..and all the other things we exchange. MO -cats!

Fursday Meowning and the Torties are Stirring

I asked Mommy to take that cussed X apart and put the two pieces in different rooms. That way, it can't come together again to trick me! Imagine dumping beautiful me two times! That was two times too many and so the green papers she gave away for it will be put to use providing me with a lay down pad and scratcher should I desire. *fumes*

Mommy said she wondered if she was fueling my bomits with the new FF extra gravy meals. I never laid those traps before..I just used the old being a cat "log" in the way to trip over to catch introoders previous to those lovely new FF fuds I so love. We will see. Mom is feeding me the 'old' FF. I comin' to see you...watch for me. Leave the light on.

Wordy Wednesday

My mommy stepped in one of my bomit traps day before yesterday! She really did. Barefooted too. She got up to see what a bumping sound was caused by..it was 4 in the morning..and I'm afraid she stepped into a trap I laid in the hallway against possible burglars. She said it was cold and she felt fortunate that it was the side of her foot, not the whole thing. I told her she wasn't supposed to be up and had she stayed in bed, there would not have been a problem. *I* am the one who investigates strange bumps in the night!! That's my job!!

Guess what? The X was properly put together finally after everyone said to knock it more firmly together. Well, after several days, I decided to get up on it and it fell over again. How in the world do you kitties get ON that thing and STAY on it??? I give up. I may have approached it from the side..mom doesn't know as she was not there.

The day is coming when, after a call to set up an appointment I get to go to that place! Mom can now pick me up and hold me and she hopes, lower me into my PTU. In the wide range blood test last time, the v-e-t said on the phone that I had one value in my kidney screen that was off kilter. He said until another test next time he wasn't worried and he commanded my mom also not be worried. So we need to see about that and generally how I am. Lots of drama here.
