Meowy Monday

Kitties! After making mommy feel very badly for taking me to the v-e-t Friday, I have finally stopped hiding almost 7-24 and COME OUT! I even crawled up on the bed (after she gave up) and put my wee hands by her face and then, purred at her last night. I woke her up sweetly too. Kisses and snuggles are us!

She almost got a photo of me with my feeties in that little box that I spoke of the other day. Operative word is almost! Each time the flashy box started whirring I took my hands out AND turned my head. It was so fun to sense her frustration. I let her get a few but none with my feets in it. Ha HA, Mommy! Here, my lasers are on "full". Look out!

I have yet to have the first dose of medicine because I refuse to eat when she puts it there. But pretty soon I bet I make a trip in to see what other form of it I might be persuaded to take or her, mom, to give. At least I came out and played this morning, and while not setting the world on fire eating, I am eating.

xoxo

Admiral, our new kitty, Lil Bit is just the same about pictures. She hates having them taken. We don't blame you.
Sure hope Mom can figure out a way to get that medicine down you. We don't want you to get any sicker. Hope you have a fun day.

Admiral, you look very sweet there. We are sure this is frustrating and worrying for your Mom about the medicine. Remember, she could haul you off to the vet every day and make them pill you, so maybe you should just have it.

Mom, you probably have this in mind: it may have to end up being the quality of remaining life, not the length of it. Purrrrrring hard.

Hello pretty Admiral! I'm so glad you are feeling some better, and I know that you know you need to take your medicine...it beats the PTU thingy!

I love the pic mom got of you Admiral. I am also glad that you ate just a little bit. Please try and do better with the eating.

Well, sweetie - dat is encouraging news. I'm so happy to hear you stopped hiding cuz I know how miserable your mom was feeling over your hiding all the time. Now if you would only eat a little more sweetie. HUGs for you and mom.

Re Downloads: that sometimes happens to my Mom - on her dock bar, right next to the trashcan is a thingie that looks like a letter. If she puts her cursor on it, it should say Downloads. Click on there and the downloads will rise up like a list above it. She can select the one she wants and open it just by it being highlighted. Then do "save as" and save it to the desktop, from where she can more easily choose it from the Design function of Blogger.
Hope that helps. If need be, email me simbasanticsATmeDOTcom

That's such a cute pic of you, though, Admiral!

Good luck to your mom re: a different method of delivering the med. Pill gun, pill pockets and syringe are the only other ways the mom can come up with, none of which sound good to us.

Please consider the 'just get it over with' method of coping with meds......less pain for everyone in the long run. If not, the nasty technology listed above may be needed. We want you to stay well and happy here in the realm.

Dear Admiral, please eat your foods with the medicine in it. We know it tastes terrible, but it really is there tp help you. Is there other foods your Mom can try?

Admiral - you may have to suck it up about the pill. We are lucky no one here has to take anything on a regular basis, but mom seems to have mastered the "grab and insert" method when she has too....be glad you don't live here. :)

Miss Admiral, maybe you could have your medicine made at a compounding pharmacy, and have it flavored to your liking! We all send you purrs and nose kissies, extras from Rupert.

She was going to have it say 'I have ways of making you stay home' but I outsmarted her and ran away! ha HA ha! Cover you ears love I need to tell your mommy something. Psssst, I think you'll need to do what my mom did with me with the Evile Long Plastic Baby Medicine Syringe. Hey, I read that you had one of those drinking fountains you didn't like it. If you wants to sell it; That Woman would be interested since Miss Jenga's water fountain thingy broke. ME? I use the hose outside. (seriously, I do, it's fresh & cold alla times. )

Hello my darling! You look stunning there with your (gasp) tummy all exposed like that. I will be right there to rest my furry little head upon it and then we can have a nice purry nap in tandem. Sound good?
P.S. I'm trying VERY hard to overlook that "Rupert's Lady" signature on your post over at the Lounge. I mean, I realize you have to keep his hopes up....but, still.

You're lucky it's just your Mom. When I had to take liquid stuff, Pop held me and TW jammed the dropper into my mouth. Ugh! How humiliating.

Hi Admiral,
We are so glad you came out to play... That's a good sign! Yes... we don't like meds too much here, but mom has these cat bags, and it makes things a lot easier on us kitties (and on her too, I suppose). Bugsy takes meds everyday, the poor little guy!
Hope you figure out a way to deal with it, it's going to make you feel better!
Thank you so much for your donation for Sweet Little Shell - it was very generous of you <3 She is a wonderful little girl and has a long road ahead of her.
Many Hugs,
Lucky ~

Hi Admiral san! I hope you can take medicine in a way that you can accept. It's great you came out and played with your mom. She must be very happy. About that flashy box, my kids react in the same way! I bring it and they look away...or stop doing something cute.
You look good in the picture, with full laser :-)

Thank you for visiting us and sending all those healing purrs. The battle Cinders face now is taking all those meds.

Hey Admiral, you've just got to eat and lucky as your mom is trying to coax you to take the meds.

Our human, now desperate, has resorted to shoving pills down Cinders' throat.

Dearest Admiral, it's all very well to tease your Mom over taking pictures, it's ok to turn your lasers onto "full" too, it's wonderful that you are out from your hiding places - But, please, please, please take your medicine!
