I read what you told me, of course, and so I rethought my waking hour for mom. I let her sleep, with only three short announcements of the latest feline news, until almost 7. She's bright eyed and bushy tailed..more so than me, and raring to serve me.
I ate a few bites of my breakfast and I did allow a few minutes of play. My dangly feather wand with the enticing beads tied into the string usually get some reaction from me. Mom made me smile because she said she was gonna lay a bitey on me. I thought "in your dreams, mom!" And then she got down and started play munching on my sides. Kitties, the things I have to put up with! I offered to bite her, for real. Just a small little nip. I can only allow so much license after all into this laying a bitey on ME!
Mom said she'll be around after a while..she has to get her face on (mine is so beautiful I don't have to do that) and get dressed. Then, church. So she'll help me in awhile.

Those Katnip Lounge kitties crack me up! My Mommeh never goes anywhere outside without putting paints on her face. It is very strange!

I'm skidding in here to catch up on days worth of news. Sam & Lucy are reading, too, and talking all at once. They are very excited to see the newest picture of your gorgeous self on the quilt. Sam is sighing, Lucy is beating him over the head and winking at me at the same time. Admiral, this house has never been the same since your arrival into Sam & Lucy's hearts...ok, mine, too :D
Have you ever looked into a full length mirror, Admiral? Sam did ONCE and that "other" cat shook him up so much that he hissed, growled and then ran and hid. Lucy just laughed. She knows mirrors are a good thing.
