Dear Furriends and mommies and daddies who are purring and praying for us and sending us positive energy.
I am asking Mommy to write this for me as I am still at the hospital but I will be home later today. My Dr. told mommy my bloods are all fine and my calcium level turned out to be only a couple of tenths of points above normal after all..and he thought that may be due to my bad dehydration. My Dr. is puzzled by my symptoms and he is giving me an x-ray to be absolutely sure he has left no stone unturned.
Mommy had more tears than even yesterday when she left me and when she went to bed without me, because the Dr. told her I was in the "hide box" they provide. I hope my appetite returns when I come home because I have had nothing, since I won't eat.
Me and Mommy miss each other terribly. I want to come home. But I imagine I will have to retire under the bed when I am home.

Aw, Admiral...We hope you're home -- and eating! -- soon. The "plus" is that your blood work is okay. Are you just feeling "off?" Sometimes that happens. Would anything tempt you? Chicken baby food (no spices of course)? Tuna or other fish? Did they give you sub-qs? Your mom might have said already. That at least would help with the dehydration and maybe make you feel a wee bit better.
Continued purrs and Light to you and your mom!
Oh Admiral, I hope you will feels better when you get home to your own domain. UTB is always my go-to spot when anything is upsetting me. It drives my Human crazy and she sometimes gets down on her hands and knees and practically weeps with frustration till I come out again (sometimes I feel actual pity for her).
But one thing I will almost always eat (even when I am on a hunger strike) is baby food chicken and turkey and ham and other meats. Please don't stay sick or upset for too long because the Humans get really wonky and scared.
Your devoted,
Spitty-the-Kitty
Ah, Admiral, both me and the human are so sorry that you had to stay in the vet hospital. No wonder you were in the hidey box. hospitals stink so bad, don't they? I can understand why you'd want your own space to get away from that. I'd advise eating soon though. Although I can understand the rationale behind not doing so (it's clear you're holding out just to ensure your people gives you the choicest foods to eat when you do decide to sample), the sooner you eat, the sooner you'll be home. We know how awful it is to be sick, so we really hope you get better soon! So soryr we haven't been around more, but Christmas has been busy and the human is using a laptop where the man who talks to her and reads the screen isn't so good with blogs, so she's struggling to comment for me. Get well soon!
Miss Admiral, We are so happy to hear you have good bloods! We knew that you would. Hopefully you'll be home soon, UTB, and your only POD will be to eat all sorts of delicious, tempting invalid foods, like thin sliced turket deli meat, and roast beef.
When Felix was recovering from surgery Mommy gave him kitten food for extra calories, he loved it!
We are purring hard and of course Rupert is ready to come and sit by you at any time.
Love from alla us and Mommy, too!
xxoo
Sweet Admiral, I am just so glad that you are telling us updates. My furry friend, you will feel much better when you get home and have that cuddling and lovin' that you need. So if you feel you must go UTB for a little while, it's ok 'cause we know it's a safe place with safe scents. But don't forget what's waiting for you in the kitchen; oh yeah, that magical place where all good things to eat come from. I can see in my crystal ball that MUCHO yummies will be waiting for you. Yes, dear Admiral, see how you are loved? And by so MANY!
XOXOXO from me.....rubbbbbsssss & purr-sounds from Sam & Lucy who are really missing you.
We're glad you have good bloods Admiral and we hope you are able to go home soon and figure out your POD UTB which will hopefully include some foods. We know you and your mommy will sleep well tonight once you are together again. Our mommy knows how worried and sad your mommy was with you gone and we know how you felt too. We're sending purrs and hugs to both of you!

Get better soon, and don't forget to drink some water now and then.
One intensely hates to leave the feline at the Vet's overnight!
Dear Puffy Admiral H-flower, I hope you are going to come home soon. Miles and I are wailing about this. Perhaps your mom could bring a t-shirt or a blankie that smells like her.... and and and she could sleep with one of your kitty toys.

Oh Admiral we are glad your bloods were ok but we wish they could figure out what is wrong! We hope you will be more into eating when you get home - a lot of our kitty friends won't eat when they are at the vets (we of course will eat any time). We are still sending you lots of get well purrs and prayers!! We are sorry your mom is sad - we know she will be happy when you are home - we just hope you will be more back to normal once you are there and not at the scary vets office!
Admiral, we are purring so very hard for you and hope you feel better soon. We hope you will eat some when you are in your own home and feel more secure.
We are purring for your mom too, because we know how worried she must be.
We hope you get home today and start eating instead of hiding.
We can't find an email address but we want to tell you that when we clicked on "Admiral Hestorb" on the comment you left on the CB, which we thought would bring us to your blog, actually took us to where we got this message ---
Sorry,"admiral-hestorb.blo" does not exist or is not available.
We figure that maybe you typed your blog url in wrong and might want to go back and leave it again so everyone can find you. (We have you bookmarked.)

Did you eat a piece of ribbon or string? Maybe some Vaseline to move things along? This was my baby's problem & nothing was on x-ray..
oh, but she was vomiting and you aren't doing that...
ok, more prayers!
Sweet Admiral , I know it was hard to be separated from Mommy and it was so heart wrenching for her to leave you at the V-E-T.
God bless you and Mommy. We love you both. Please eat if you can.
