Mommy Here

The Admiral asked me to speak for her just for this evening. She is spending her first night away from Mom in the hospital BUT: Her bloods were all excellent except for one thing which is being double checked. Her Dr. wants a urinalysis also but my girl was too dehydrated to get a sample though they hydrated her and she feels better from that alone.

There are only guesses at this point but her doctor wondered if she might have a urinary tract infection. There is no way of telling at this point. We have to wait till she obliges us with a sample.

She has been lethargic the past several days but when I saw she did not make much contribution to her litterbox, and one other thing I observed, I gathered her up..her protesting all the way, and carried her off to her Dr.

I miss her terribly. She and I both thank you for your words of comfort, love and support. We both know you have been in our shoes and we're grateful for all, each and every one of you kitties and mommies and daddies.

Oh Miss Admiral's Mommy, our mom knows exactly how you must feel, and she's so very sad for you. We hope that the vets find out what is wrong and that it's quick and easy to treat. We're sending purrs to both of you, and we wish for good news soon.

Love, Fuzzy and Zoe

Oh noes! We're so sorry to hear that Miss Admiral is at the hospital but we're glad she's getting the care she needs to feel better again. We're sending lots of purrs to both of you and we'll keep our paws crossed for good news from the vet very soon. Our mommy is sending you hugs too!

We're purring for you and Admiral. We hope she's back on your pillow tomorrow night - and that it's all a false alarm after too much Christmas.

Oh yes, my thoughts and very heartfelt prayers are with her, too. Come on, Admiral, you can do it. If it's a urinary tract infection, you know how that great pink stuff tastes (yuck) but it will make you all better. Get well, sweet Admiral. Your mommy is not going to sleep until you're home and we will all be worrying and sending such big purrs to you. Much love from furry Sam, wide eyed Lucy, and me, one of your many lovin' aunts. xoxoxo

Oh we are sorry that Admiral has to spend the night at the vets but we know they will take good care of her. Our mom told us that her kitties growing up had hyperthyroidism (we asked her what it was and she told us) and both of them would get UTI's and they would be kinda miserable like Admiral sounds. We hope it is just that and then it can be helped with medicine (which is yucky but worth it). We are sending her lots of purrs and prayers to get better and for it to just be something simple!
