None for me, thank you.

I have spent days thwarting my housemate, the Attendant who cares for me in all ways, (as well she should).

Allow me to list my most recent aggravating acts. They all come under the heading of not taking the medicine prescribed for me.

The medicine was compounded to taste like chicken, or so my Attendant was told. HA! You could have fooled me! That's just it. I was not fooled by any means.

I laughed quietly into my furred arm at her trying to trick me or tempt me if you will, by adding the medicine to my solid food. Then, that having failed, to some chicken broth. No. I would have none of it. Then, she added it to tuna juice. That was such a tempting scent that I had to try it despite my better knowledge. I just drank perhaps half of it. Enough to give her hope but not enough to do me any good. She has not convinced me yet of the severity of my condition.

I do know she is going without me to my Dr. tomorrow at 1500 hrs. She has a list of questions to ask regarding my chances with Iodine 131. The venerable older feline that lived here prior to me passed away with CRF at the age of 16. She had been taken to the University Hospital of Veterinary medicine and my Attendant was told that it may not work for her, however she and her sons gathered their money and took her anyway. Hopefully, I will go in good time and not too late. She loves me so much.

Since I know she loves me, my Attendant, and tonight I will crawl up into the fresh sheets with her and show her my love for all of her care and attention. I will lay my sweet head on the same pillow she uses and right next to her face. I know she smiles when my whiskers and eyebrows tickle her face. I put my paw on her face and pat her cheek and mouth, and I purr deeply and loudly to help her drift off to sleep. Then, I must get up and position myself next to my water bowl. This makes my human very sad.

I will tell you soon what the Dr. tells her and we will see what is to be done for me.

Meanwhile..sleep well all of you and purrs. I have lots of those to give.
