A Brighter Day

My human mom took herself off to the Vet and talked a long time. I know this because I heard her telling about it on the phone.

She had asked to pay for an office visit as it seemed more fair to pay him for his time. She was there at least 35 minutes. He answered every question and addressed...sometimes re-addressing her concerns.

Firstly, I found that my heart rate was over 200 when I was there. My mom only recently found out that it might be accelerated due to hyperthyroidism. Indeed it is but treatment for the disease should lower it to the more normal 160 bpm or so. Then it was told to mom that Iodine 131 at my present stage of discovery is not indicated. best to treat it for a space of time to see how my kidney function is. Hyperthyroidism masks kidney disease. Lowering the thyroid values as we need to do for me will tell the tale. THEN and only then will I know about my kidney function. The Dr. seems confident that I am "caught" in time to do well with treatment.

Mom has to have the transdermal med for me. Tonight, I refused point blank to have even a sip of her polluted offering of tuna juice. You can fool me only some times! She will have to pay roughly twice, just over twice as much for the transdermal delivery but..I told her I am worth it.

I thought I would tell you how I am..I am here, in power and the ruler of my universe..as usual.
