Mom said I have to use my angel sisfur's bloggie until I get my own built. One reason there isn't one yet is when mom gets down on her knee to take pictures of me, I come straight to her to swarm into her arms and no way can a picture be taken. Not yet. When she gets some good pictures of me she'll commence the bloggy.
I have THE tiniest meow there ever was. VERY tiny..like hearing it from a distance. Mom can't get used to that after the fog horn bellows of the Admiral. I am a total complete cuddle bug and I hop up for snuggles and kisses and kneading her every opportunity I have. If she sits or gets on the floor..I am right there 100% giving her lovins. And she kisses and holds me too.
Mom went to bed last night wondering if I was ever going to use the litterbox and somewhere in the night, I did. WHEW! she said. I also came in and slept with her too. I jumped up multiple times and of course did the walk-around so mom didn't get much sleep. She'll get used to it.
I had a good breakfast. Mom isn't used to that either as tiny Admiral ate so little. I found out I also don't like pate style food and mom had to take the stuff back and exchange it for chunky...just like my angel sisfur.
Mom took a picture of me at 6 this morning staring at birdy TV in the dark and rain. You can see the rain drop on the screen. And the other was on the floor a few minutes ago. I wouldn't let her get to my level..I kept coming forward for loves.

Katie, we aren't surprised you swarm your Mommy all the time, she is a dilly of a Mom and we'd be swarming her too! She will have to get close-ups of you with the zoom, heh heh. It sounds like you are settling in well, and after you get accustomed to your foods the "whew" factor in the box will get a lot better. At least it did here.

Excellent job on teaching your Mommy all about your food preferences--and good job on letting her know that while the Admiral's appetite may have been quite birdlike in recent months, yours is decidedly NOT. The photos are just great, and it is wonderful, but only natural that Katie is so happy with her new home. Gracie spent her very first night here on the bed with us, and it's sweet that Katie did too. Gracie must not have had much access to a litter box before we picked her up at the shelter, because she used the litter box about five minutes after she got home with us! :-)

You do sound like a total lovebug, Katie! It's funny that your Mom is having a hard time taking photos of you because you're always coming over for cuddles. Vidock often does the same thing to #1 when he's out in the field!

One trick Mom uses for us with pictures is to take them at a high resolution of megapixels from further away and then crop them down for the blog. Because Audrey especially likes to come and check out the camera, especially if it is at floor level. The strap is an attractant too!

We came over from Katnip Lounge to welcome your new addition to the family but we knew Admiral from the Ladies of Autumn becase our Mitalee is also in that club.
