LOOK AT MY FABULOUS PAWSIE!!Kitties and woofies, my new bloggie is coming along. Soon it will be separate and apart from this one. I have an awardie from the Island Cats and when my bloggie is ready I will post it.
I came right to bed last night and after kneading a football field sized pan of bread dough, we turned out the lights and got into the business of sleeping. All was well as she started out on her left side as always and I was tucked in near by. During the night, she turned over to her right side and I, unknown to her, slid on in to seal myself along her back. The problem came when she woke a bit again (0256 hours) to turn back to her right side. Whoops! Occupied! She felt me stretched out along her back. She stood it for quite a while and then decided to turn anyway. When she rose a bit, I oozed right over into her place! So that left her with two choices. Disturb me or get out and go into the other cold unoccupied side of the bed. She disturbed me a bit and I moved over. Man, I was sleepy!
I heard mom telling a furiend that it was an adjustment getting used to a young healthy kitty. I think she has made the transition.
My fleas seem gone if that is what they were what with the drops behind my neck. Just normal scritching going on and the seeming evidence of detestable flea eggs (like some grains of salt on my coat that suddenly appeared) gone.
Mom said I am the most trusting little one she has ever seen to a complete stranger. My former servant must have been very loving. I run this household as though I always have which shows I have experience in that. My desire for constant lovins is a little bit something to get used to because I don't want to be out of mom's arms ever. But she has things she has to do. It's making her think of how to accomplish both. I love getting on her lap, lay up against her chest all the way up, laying my head on her left chest and then stretch my arm up to hold her in my hug. We will stay that way as long as she can do it. As much as an hour and 15 minutes so far. But then, she had to get up. We're looking for a way that we can both get our agendas together.
Here I am in one of the few pictures mom could take without me swarming into her arms. (she loves it..don't think she doesn't). We were made for one another and Admiral knew it. That's why she put her paw of approval on me..mom got Admiral's paw print given to her on the day she met me. XXOO

I do that close-laying with TBT too. I love ta sleep with my head on his hip. So when he shifts positions it is really annoying.
I keep my claws slightly out ta hold on ta him when he moves, but he doesn't like that very much.

we sleep like that too - except there are more of us to make sure mom doesn't move. :) We are so happy to hear that you are making such a great adjustment to your new home!!
I, Simba, do a good job of pinning Mom in at night. Though I like to lie on whichever side is the front, so I will switch across if she rolls. If she falls aaleep on the sofa with the crocheted blanket on her, I HAS to be on the part of the blanket that is in front of her tummy, and that really pins her into one spot.
Katie, you do seem to be a very very loving and lovable girl. We hope your Mommie can still get her things done while you maybe sleep in a beddie or something.

Katie we think sometimes it's best to go to bed first and lay just where you want to be. Your Mom will surprise you at the positions she will lie in so she doesn't have to move you. Keep up your excellent training programme it seems to be working very well.

Oh, such a lovey kitty! My Max always wanted to be held, for hours on end. His favorite was to roll upside-down in my arms and fall asleep. It made it impossible to get anything done, but I didn't dare interrupt that precious time. Eventually, I found ways of how to hold him with one arm so the other was available. There are slings you can buy that hold them close to your chest while freeing up your hands.
All that snuggly, what a fun problem to have sweet Katie!!!
Star says, "My sweet Katie!! You are doing such a good job of taking care of your mommy! I'll be right over to groom you. Maybe your mom should get a baby sling (the ones that are just cloth with a ring) so you can ride in it while she does things."
Oh Katie, good girl, you have your new person all wrapped around your paws all ready. Wow you are a speedy trainer. But I betcha that Mom is loving every minute. I am sure that Admiral gave you all the right moves.We are so excited that you like the Mom so much. Take care.

Pandafur got that right! Had TW kept Isabel, she was just like that. She crawled and climbed all over TW and never bit her. OTOH, TW just told me she wa "fed up" with my biting her and was going on a "no play" strike. How do you like that!

Oh Katie, it sounds like you are right at home!!!! We know there will never be another Admiral, but you are your own sweet self and we already love you!!!! We hope those nasty fleas have all gone bye bye now!!!!

It's great that you and your mom are bonding and fitting together so nicely already. you are a very beautiful kittie! my person likes to think her sleep is more important than our snuggling so she will move me to the end of the bed in the middle of the night, but I just go right back to sleep so it must be fine.
Good job layin' down the paw right off! Don't give them an inch or you will find they soon usurp the whole kitten kaboodle!

I'm glad those nasty fleas are gone! That is something kitties definitely don't need! Your descriptions of the snuggling/cuddling are very sweet! Even though Gracie doesn't like to be picked up, she likes to snuggle, and she nearly always spends at least part of the night with us, mostly snuggled up to my side. When Millie sleeps with us, she sleeps down by Ron's feet.
Oh Katie - your tosies are so very cute. M is smooching them. You are such a good match for her, and yes Admiral did give her paw of approval.

Katie, we know for a fact that Admiral had a paw in picking you for your mom! She's with both of you always! We're both snuggle bugs too so can keep our beans in one spot for a very long time! I've figured out that if I stop in front of my mommy and pick up my front paws she'll pick me up and put me on her shoulder and once there she can't put me down for nothing because I grab onto her shirt in the back! I get lots of back scritches that way though!

Katie, kitties own the bed! We have our mom trained, she has been known to sleep across the bed with her legs at a 90 degree angle (like an "L") just so she didn't bother us. We are so happy you two are so happy together!

Awww, that's just too cute. Love the toesies. I know how your mom feels, I am currently putting up with a foot cramp because Leo is all warm and snuggled up against said foot and I can't bear to disturb him because I can feel his purr! Ah kitties... what we wont do for you.
