Kitties, I have been held up in posting today by a busy mommy and a sleepy one. ( yes, it was my fault..the t- shirt failed) But she said she would help me with this next thing.
You all can remember what it's like to be a new kitty blogger and how sometimes it took time to find the kitties to go see and for the kitties to find and come and to see you? Please enjoy a visit to this bloggie "Mewsings of Garden Cottage Cats" where there are beautiful kitties with a garden you can't believe till you see it AND handsome and beautiful felines such as would make us all proud to know them, and beautiful music always playing. Mommy and I love it there. It's enchanted.
It's easy to get discouraged when no one knows you're there. The first year on Blogger when mommy helped me get this blog started no one came to see me for quite a while. Then, there were usually three. It took a long time for me to find out about the CB and then get to know the kitties who are there for me to love and get to know. That was the turning point. Thank goodness for our CB. I am always grateful for the CB, and the love that goes into it to keep it going for us.

Our mom started blogging for us just for her family...it was almost a year before we even accidentally stumbled upon the CB. And it was only after Huffle did a Friends on Friday post that we really started to get visitors.
But even without any followers or visitors, the mom would still post our pics and adventures--just not several times a week. :-P

Pardon my ignorance, but what does CB stand for and how do I get there...Cat Blogs? I'm an old person, so the first thing I thought of was Citizens Band, which is obviously not correct. :-)

Hi, sweet Admiral. I thought I would come over and visit, and push Nik and Spitty and Rupert out for a bit.
In answer to your question, we never try to escape through the bars or under on the sides of the deck you see in the videos. The deck is already a whole floor up from the ground and the spaces are really not wide enough unless we squeezed, and we never seem to have wanted to do that. At the third side, it is close to another level of deck half a flight down, and Mom and Dad have to have that part closed off with green plastic mesh fencing just to be sure we don't get any funny ideas. I, Simba DO escape by climbing over the mesh at the stairway. So normally Dad positions a deck chair right there and sits with his coffee while we are out there. Simba sometimes jumps up onto the top of the railing and walks along a bit and sits, but not much any more - while Dad was taking video of us both, he saw Simba looking up a lot, and clearly thinking of doing that, so he dropped the camera quickly and shooed us both inside. That is because he does NOT want Audrey to see Simba do that, because she hasn't thought of it yet.
