Mom gets to go out in the rain but that's alright. She might bring something home for me. She wishes she knew who might like (in town) my toys I don't use or never liked. The animal shelter doesn't seem to want anything. Mom offered towels and linens and newspapers and they pleasantly turned her down. Mom only knows one other kitty owner very well and her Mr. T tuxedo and he's as fussy as I am so a toy exchange doesn't work well for us.
I didn't sing last night..keep 'er guessing, that's my motto. Mom really will have to consider getting something to record my songs. Then she'll have to have someone standing by with a hammer and tongs to get her to understand how to post them to the blog.

Halloooo!!!!!!!!!!
Thank you for your kind purrs for my cat Scooter.
I do know you, I think I may have seen you at Miss Peach's, or maybe you visited my Bear's blog (Bob).
Scooter has hyperthyroidism too and takes something called vidalta for it. His levels were ok when they last tested 3 months ago. It can be hard to get the levels right though. Fluffy, my lovely girl furball who went to the bridge last December, they could never get her levels right. She still got to be nearly 18 though. She was a great singer!
btw, I am so surprised that no one wants your old toys and blankets and towels. Cat sactuaries here, and other animal shelters too, are always asking for blankies here. Even for the hedgehogs they rescue! Pity we are so far apart!
We're surprised the rescue doesn't want your toys.
Keep 'em guessing...that's our motto too!
The Florida Furkids and Angel Sniffie
Admiral, that's so weird that the shelter doesn't want blankets and towels ... OURS ALWAYS wants that kind of stuff. Pftt! Keep Mom guessing for sure!
What a GREAT idea...we'd love to hear your songs Admiral!!!

Ooh, sounds like a good day to stay in your condo for a bit and stay warm. Somebody at my Mom's work said we are getting SNOW! Yikez! She will have to look at the weather channel to see what they say.
We think you have got the best deal today Admiral seeing as you say it is chilly and wet.
We can't understand a shelter turning down your things - even if they enough now things can change so quickly if they suddenly have to take in more cats.
Luv Hannah and Lucy xx xx
We would love to hear your voice singing for your mom. We are furry sure they would be a great hit. The shellters here are always ready for blankies, newspapers, towels and esp toys. san has given much offur our toys and cages and blankies away.

Hmm, I'm surprised that the shelter declined your mom's donations. Most shelters I know of are always looking for materials for their animals. Oh well, hopefully someone will come along who needs them.
Good Morning Admiral,
I am glad you took a night off from serenading your mom. It is a really a good idea to rest your vocal cords every now and then.
Tell mom hi for me.
xoxo
Kozmo was singing last night, was yous two singing duets?
Kisses
Nellie
I can't believe the shelter didn't want anything. Do they actually HAVE animals in there? Look online or in the phone book and see if there are other nearby shelters. That's how TW found A Call 4 Paws, the wonderful rescue we donate to. I think she found them by typing in our zip code and searching petfinders.com. BTW, I sang last night for a bit.
Yes, you need to post your songs and then we can all play them at 3:30 each morning! Have a great wekend pretty Admiral!!!
That's really strange that the shelter doesn't want towels and toys and such...maybe your Mom could check with some independant rescuers?
Boomie is really looking forward to your Mom posting your songs so he can listen to it 24/7.
I have never in my life heard of a shelter who didn't want towels, linens and toys!! I have a drawer full of toys that I bought for my cats but that they didn't seem too thrilled about. I wish I had someone to do a toy exchange with.
We do hope your Mommy can record your lovely voice. My puter illiterate Mom got me on utube real easy. It has to be easy fur her. Sweet Admiral, in the late dark, I wanted to play in my tube, but she said we had to go back to bed.
xoxo Kassey
For sure Admiral - crack the whip with mom to get her to record those songs. I bet one of her smart sons could help her post the video in your bloggy.
Are there any other cat rescues nearby that might want your castoff things, Admiral? Usually these places are in great need of everything!
Admiral, I believe EMI are on their way over with a record deal that will keep you flooffed for the rest of your life! America's Got Talent? Phfffft! You're a superstar already xox
Admiral keeping the Mom guessing is the most fun as then they pay so much more attention to you.
We're glad you're staying warm in you condo today Admiral! That's too bad the shelters wouldn't take the things you were offering. We have a shelter here always in need of things like that. We would love to hear a recording of your singing!
ADmiral
We have the same kinda shelters around here. they are very fussy and not easy to work with and we tried to be volunteers and they would not let us help. It was odd to say the least.
*smoochies*

How sad that the shelter didn't want anything, Admiral. Something similar happened to our mom when she took a big bag of food to the shelter here and the lady said "we don't use that kind of food." (Admiral, this wasn't cheap food that our mom brought...it was premium stuff that she got a free coupon for from the manufacturer). The lady said, "guess we can find someone who can use it." Our mom was so disappointed in the shelter's attitude.
Anyway, we sure hope your mom can get a recording of your singing.
wait a minute, the animal shelter turned you down???? What's up with that? I have never heard of that!
Shame on them!
You could donate all of that to your vet
We are astounded your shelter turned down your stuff! They are crazypants, that's for sure.
Miss Admiral, we are all atwitter to hear your midnight serenades...
I'd like to visit that condo later, if you're entertaining any other guests, ma cherie.
Even a purrfeshional singer such as yourself deserves a night off! Haf a pawsome day, Miss Admiral. xoxo
That was not nice of them to turn you down on your nice gesture to share your toys...we bet the kitties would have loved them.
Sounds like you are still doing well and we are so happy that you are.
Sing when you want to sweet Admiral...that's what we say...sing when you want to. Hugs and nose kisses
Star says, "Ah, my darling!! I've been making mom rest this week. She may be getting in touch with you about keeping up with the contest. Audrey has been UTB lately, have you been teaching my young padawan my sweet? ::kitty kisses:: Fret not dear love! I'll be over soon to groom your precious furs, just as soon as I get mom to take her morning nap."
Hmmm. A record by the Admiral. That gives me an idea.
Mebbe yer Mom could give out yer unwanted toys to trickertreaters who have kitties...
Please DO post your songs, Admiral! We bet everybuddy would love to hear them. :)
How very strange that your local shelter declined your mommy's offer of toys, linens and such. Are there any others in your area?
Mark's Mews... Star says, "Most of the toys mom gives out are boring. We don't think much of them. Well, except for the cheese that she offers to the itty bitty Feeders. But for some reason she won't let us have it!! Mean mean mommy!!"
Hello Admiral just checking in on you make sure you are still bugging your boss and I see you are. My two pusses have been in hiding as we have a guest dog for a few days. Thanks god there has been no singing. Have a purrrfect weekend.
