Wednesday News

Mommy got the call from my doctor late late yesterday. My hypercalcimia has improved! Mom thought it had because when I refused my pill for close to a month, I was still eating. Not quite as much but decently. Sure enough..the values dropped from 14.5 to 12. Still high but close to high normal. My hyperthyroid is still under control..almost too much as I have 1.8 values and so mommy was told to go back to giving me 2 days off a week..Wednesday and Saturdays. That also allows mom to take a weekend trip since I won't come out for the sitter. Only mom is allowed to medicate me. I wish I would get over that but no..I seem to insist. My kidney values were ok except one. I don't know which but the vet said it was just barely out of range and at this point he is OK with it and when I have my quarterly bloods stolen, he'll keep and eye on it. No use borrowing troubles. He also said that since I am not in my box 3 or so times an hour and since I'm not crying out when I pee pee..he is not concerned but he told mom to keep an eye peeled.

I forgave mom by the time she came back from the Salon. I greeted her and when she got painfully to the floor (her knees will bend some now!!!) to love on me..I was purring. I got on the floor kisses and hugs! I've been waiting for those a long time. pee ess this picture is when I was a kitten. My brother took it.

Good news from the vet! What better way to celebrate than to forgive your Mommy and get some loving going! You were adorable as a kitten and have grown into a fine lady.

And in just another week, Mommy's cast is coming off and she'll be good as new! Almost time to pop the champagne! :)

Hey, how are your mummy's broken bones? Hope she's healing - she should follow in your paw prints, right?

Admiral, what wonderful news! It's excellent that you get two days off now. Make sure to still maximise your treat potential though! if you cry and look sad, your people will convince herself that it's the routine you miss, and will give you treats anyway, even when you don't have a pill to take...
