I had two breakfasts this morning and then, after a good brushie session, she cleaned house, left while the light was still pretty good ( 9AM) and took some pictures at the arboretum. She had her hair to shampoo and style as she was too tired to last night. She had to get the laundry done besides clean the house and there were three days of newspapers to at least pass a glance at. Plus some required reading that was three days behind schedule too. Then, the phone calls..sigh.
I was a good girl too while she was gone. That may be buying me trouble because that means she'll leave more often! I ate well, filled the litterbox the way I should and I wasn't as needy when she came home. Not as I have been these past 2 years. I was much,much..markedly actually..better. My coat is as soft as silk, not all gnarly the way it had gotten until I got my pills and started eating right.

Oh Admiral san, I am so happy your mom is back and you got to spend wonderful time with her! Rubbing, kissing, talking, snuggling..you are so sweet!! I wonder what you two talked about...maybe you told her how good you were while she was gone :-)

YOu paint a lovely picture of reunion, dear Admiral. I am glad you did well so your Mom can consider going away again, but of course only for a short trippie like this one was. Tell her not to take trips the length of my folks - really, it is tantamount to abandonment when mine go away for 2 weeks at a time!

Hmmm, Admiral. I am thinking you need to throw tantrums when your human comes back from trips. All the rest is good - the eating and doing well while she is gone - but you have to let her know going away is still not acceptable!
We are delighted to hear you were good while your mom was away. We can understand you were delighted when she got home and hey what's the matter with 5 checks in the night to make sure she was still there!!
