Monday Mystery

Mom was just doing her usual thing this morning way early (of course!) and while on the floor to brush me, her attention was suddenly on my Monolith. That would be my scratching post, to those not in the know. In any case, when she saw these objects on the base of it, she thought (and how dare she!!) that I had made an unseemly "deposit" on my scratching post! AS IF!!! I'm a lady and I don't do things like that!

She got closer and they were all uniform in size and damp. Some had, on removal, transferred a little color to the carpeted base. She gathered them up in a tissue and on closer examination she saw that I had dipped my kibble into my water (where I usually leave it floating for my amusement) and then carried them into the living room and made a fetching arrangement.

No idea to tell her as to why I did that. Even I-- in retrospect have to wonder. But she thought she would drag out that cumbersome flashy box and have a go at it. Think she'll post it on the fridge too! Sheesh!

It almost looks like a Stonehenge arrangement, Admiral. How unique! What message are you trying to convey?

I hope you are EATING some of your kibble!

Hasn't your mom got something important to do like getting the treat dish refilled instead of going round with the flashy box. She'll be saying she's tired next if she's anything like our mum!
luv Hannah and Lucy xx xx

Hi Admiral! Wow, we think that is a pretty arrangement - we think you were going for something artsy for sure! We have done that a couple times, gotten our crunchies wet and then pulled them out - though not to often (we usually just leave them).

Perhaps Miss Admiral was expecting company! Yes? No? Will we ever know the truth? I guess mom should just be happy that you weren't eating in her bed.
