She gave me my first dose last night. She is using the darker side of my Tortie face to apply thyroid med in my ear and the orange colored side of my face to apply the steroid in the other ear. That's how she'll keep track...by the colors of my ears.
Dr. Rick gave me on of my appetite pills day before yesterday anyway despite having the steroid cream- and kitties, I have eaten well. I always do with that pill but we are hoping this new med will help end having to be hauled off the v-e-t for another pill. If I'm a good girl and hold still for the other medicine later today, we are home free we hope.
Mom was so happy last night that I FINALLY got a dose of my medicine. That made me happy too although I am still punishing her for that outrage of the v-e-t visit. I didn't sleep with her and no kisses or snuggles this morning. I did throw back an ENTIRE can of Fancy Feast however and I never do that. I hope Mom gets off this thing and plays with me even though I made her get on it, MOL. And I attended Spitty's Blogaversary pawty and I also am full of Gerber's. Go wish him a happy, and have a Niptini. They are stunningly good kitties. He knows how to make a drink!

Yay for nomming an feeling betters....an gettin REVENJ!
Sending you lots of purrs and good thoughts and hope soon you will be better soon! I have been away from blogging but all of my dear friends are never far from my thoughts. You must listen to your mommie and not to punish her for the vet visits as she is trying to make you better. This is a good start and hopefully you are well on your way to being better.
I guess that is necessary so the Mom is not getting a dose of the steroids absorbed through her finger too! Eat well, little one!
That sounds like a much better way to get your meds. Pray it works and cuts down on the V-E-T trips for you.
I'm sure happy you had some eats sweet Admiral and hopefully that new medicine way will be so much easier on both of you!
Yeah for the new meds....we got our paws crossed it makes a huge difference!!! And way to party...

This is such very good news, Admiral! We sure hope and prurray that all continues to go well!
We thinks you might wants to forgives your mommy now, she is trying so very very hard to helps you.
Hi Admiral! WE are glad your medicine came - Kirzon's antibiotic that is made into ear cream and it is in a syringe thingy too. Mom has to admit that she doesn't use finger cots (she just washes her hands good before and after) but we are gussing it depends on the meds if it is ok to do that or not (she asked the pharmacist because we are able to have it done locally and since he makes it he knows about it). We are glad your mom has a system for it - that is a good idea! And we are glad you ate so much food too - that is very good news! We hope that the new meds work so you don't have to go back to the vets office!
Sweetheart, I'm so happy to read that you are doing better. Your mum is a real supermum! She loves you so much! And I know you love her just as much even though you give her the cold treatment when she brings you to the V-E-T. :)
Keep getting better, Admiral!
This is great news, Admiral! It sounds like you have the right combo of meds to get you back on track. But why didn't the vet clinic give your human some finger cots? The vets here gave them to my human when she had to give medicine on my ears.
We're glad your meds are in and that your mom has the purrfect system to remember which ear gets what meds. We hope you keep feeling better all the time!
HOORAY!! I hope that the med continues to work and you keep eating for mommy!
