Tortie Thursday

Kitties! I have been practicing getting up extra early! This morning I decided 5:30 looked good so I went for it! And I wanted Mom to enjoy the day too so I got her up as well. No use in having breakfast by yourself! Well, that presupposes that breakfast is ready! My dry fuds were but not my wet so I rousted the ol' girl out. I declined morning kisses because she didn't rise up early enough to suit me. You have to keep them disciplined. Iron paw. Steely looks..determined set to the ears. That's how you keep the humans under control! Oh, and soft furs and velvety purrs.

Trust me, I'm a master at it.

pee ess: Mommy just chipped in for the animals in Japan. I hope all of us do.

Admiral, your Mom is going to regret that appetite stimulant! You show her not to take you to the Vet!!

You sure are a good hooooman trainer Admiral. Guess that pill worked if you are up nice and early to eat. We sure hope it lasts for a long long time. Sending some more purrs and crossed paws. The donkeys said they would cross their hooves if you need them too but it is really hard to walk like that.

MOL at Simba's comment!

We keep suggesting you get your mom up by 4AM every day, but so far we think you're very generous to let her sleep till 5:30!

Good morning ma petite chou (or something--my Human's French is pathetic and nonexistent but sometimes a boy needs a little romance in his language). I am planning a quiet day here, thinking deep thoughts. Come on by ;-)

We are glad you are up early and hungry. We tried that routine on mom this am and all it got us was kicked off the bed. Once she even locked us out of the bedroom!!!

I got Mom up early too by pawing the blinds. Well, she just went to the little room and went back to bed. Sweet Admiral, I'm glad you're eating and I hope you have a good day and keep eating.

What? Your breakfast wasn't ready? Gasp! Well, at least you're eating again which is a good sign.

We can't believe your mom isn't up and ready with your breakfast before you want it. It's hard to train moms to be prepared in advance! We've figured out that if we lay on our mommy and make her legs go numb, she wakes up all by herself and then we act surprised that she's up as if it was her idea! MOL

We're glad you're eating your breakfasts, Miss Admiral! We've been getting up earlier than our mom, too. We know that when the sun comes out, we should be up, but our mom's clock still says it's too early. But really - who knows better the true time - a cat or a clock? Right.
