Slumber...sleep..oh my goodness. Mom loves my "rise and shine" while it's still dark..I know she does. She lies there stubbornly, trying to pretend that she's NOT awake but I know she is. She thinks that *I* think that I will have trained her to get up when I say so if she responds to me when I yowl, crawl over her and try to style her hair (so she won't have to) but the truth is, I have trained her. It is a plain as the whiskers on my face! Her puny 5 minutes before we get up is just a sop to her vanity..trying to convince herself she's the one who says what and when. Ha.
My human brother is here so when he gets up in a bit am I going to get all kinds of attention. I love that mom always makes him bacon to go with his eggs. That's my time to ask for some. I get tiny bacon shards to eat. YUMMY.
I hope all of my furriends are waking their pawrents by now and having a good breakfast!

You are very responsible Admiral - it's our duty to wake up our oomans. We have to keep dem sharp and on their toes, otherwise they gets lazy.
We fing the best way to get our mum up is by dancing on her chest and playing whap across her face which means her nose gets pawed (by accident) quite often!!

Miss Admiral, we need to borrow your meow horn. Our lazybones Mommy slept until 8:30 this morning! Of course, we all snuggled up with her and snored to pass the time.

We give mom the rise and shine yowling every morning around 4:00. Sometimes she tries to ignore us until around 6 am and some mornings we take it easy on her, but not this morning. We were persistent and we prevailed over her sleeping.
The Admirals styling salon...Hmmm.
