Treacherous Thursday

My mommy said lots of mean ol' ice fell outta the sky all night long! Look what it did to my Nature Bird Channel!!! Made it all slithery and hard for the birdies to get a grip. (mommy never has a grip, she says).

That's some nasty ice! I can take snow way better than ice. Tell your mom that the picture is very pretty!

Lol, loved it ("mommy never has a grip")
The snowing is roaring down now and the news just flashed up and said in a couple of hours we'll be able to add a little ice to the equation. Oh joy.
Admiral, if you get bored, you can always come over and play with Sam & Lucy. They are still checking all the windows "in case" the weather is different in one of them. To them there's always hope, right?
XOXOXO and 8 paw waggles to you, dear Admiral

What a pretty birdie - we wonder how he is holding on to that twig with all the ice on it. Are you sat below with your mouth open so you can catch him if he falls!?! Just asking!!

The ice made it very beautiful, but dangerous. The mom still remembers the devastation of the Ice Storm of 1998. We'll hope your ice thaws soon!

The ice is pretty but we don't like it either. We actually had blue sky and sun here today in the first time in forever so we're enjoying sunpuddles!

The view of ice is very pretty in the snow season but I'd rather not live there "Sorry"
would like the cold weather? I bet you don't?
Have a nice day,

Admiral
What a gorgeous picture, but we are sure the weather must be difficult for all the wildlife out in it. Nature knows how to deal with situations like that. But aren't you glad to be inside?

Admiral, isn't that a pretty bird on the pretty ice? I bet you talked to him. The ice is pretty, but bad news.

Tell your Mommy we're glad she had a grip on the camera! You have a very yummy menu on the bird channel.

Admiral, it's too bad humans don't have claws on their feet to grip the ice! You stay safe indoors.

That photo is a winner...Tell your mama she should enter it in some competition! It would make a lovely Christmas card, too.

Whoa, look at all that ice!! Those birdies need some grippers on their feets!

Oh Admiral, would it be unMancatly for me to (almost, just a little bit) feel sorry for the birdies?

Wow! That is a beautiful photo! But it must be so tough to get a grip for the little birdies.

Wow - guess we missed the ice and snow - just a dusting. Be careful!

What a pretty picture of the bird, and ice on the branches. I bet you would have a hard time getting a grip if you were trying to climb that tree, Admiral. I hope that's not what mommy met when she said, she never has a grip. Better stay in where it is safe, warm, and cozy. :)
