Kitties!

Kitties, mom did a search on those high powered flea meds and she and I are convinced now more than ever that they are what's wrong with me. Just when I took a step forward to being myself, I went back four steps today. I am eating well, but when mommy tries to love on me, I take off as though I'm afraid and I have been calling in the night. She knows I'm uncomfortable so she just feels terrible that I feel terrible. The rest of those drops are in the trash even though a years worth cost her the moon. She said she was not going to give them away so some other furbaby would be suffering too. Best to get rid of them.

Meanwhile I hope I get this stuff out of my system so I can get back to normal.

Mom said to quit blogging about this gloomy stuff but I wanted you to know why I am not blogging much. I'll do better soon.

Sweet Admiral, we all hope you are feeling better very soon! Maybe you might enjoy playing with a feather or string? Something interactive yet not touchy-feely. Rupert says he's standing by the moment you feel like company...he looks pretty dashing in his "Doctor Cat" outfit complete with tiny stethoscope. Just say the word!
Mommy sends hugs. It's no fun having a sick cranky kitty.

Wow, Admiral, Rupert has the crazy hots for you!
Miles and I are gonna purr that you start feeling better soon. I never had a flea med, and Miles not either. I think your mom is right not to get flea meds until you get fleas.

bonkbonkbonks for contentment to return to your fluffy little self!

Dear Sweet Admiral, have you asked your mommy to check your skin very carefully where these meds were placed? There might be inflammation, OR if any shots were given, ck there, too. Sometimes those shots leave a big hurtful lump and that might be what's bothering you. Ask her to look, Admiral, because I know you can't see back there. Oh, and also, get her to feel your ears and see if they feel too warm. If they do, it will tell her you have a fever.
Poor Kitt, I'm sorry you feel so poorly right now. We'll all do detective work to figure it out. When we do, we'll all go and kick that vet where "the sun don't shine".
Sending you soft strokes and a little kiss on your forehead, your aunt JennyD, Sam & Lucy
XOXOXO

I am back now, I had look up on internet for the Fleas medicine section for side effect,
there I can't find them but I realize the fleas are nasty things it said lead to the Anemia.

I hope you have a good time with your mum.

Oh Admiral my heart is just breaking for you, you poor baby!!!
I am glad your Mom threw those meds away. I am a firm believer that cats do not need flea meds!!! (possibly unless they are outdoor cats!)
Sorry to all the vets out there that push them! They never pushed them for the entire 18 yrs I had Bobo....with Cody my vet started in about it. I gave Cody the lotion or whatever it was ONCE...read about them after the fact and won't give them again!
(((hugs)))

Aw, Admiral! I'm glad you are eating well cause that's really important. As far as not letting Mom love on you--well, that pretty much describes how **I** am all the time! But my Human is accustomed to the cold shoulder and yours is not, so go easy on her, huh? I'll be over later to get that pesky Ru-Paul outta your hair.

Admiral, we're so sorry you aren't feeling well and hope you start feeling like your loveable self soon! We're glad your mom figured out what is going on with you though so that once it's out of your system it'll never happen again.

Admiral, we hope you feel better soon.
Just like in humans, allergies are tough to track down and can be done by slow elimination.
Well, we found out our Tommy is allergic to mosquito bites. Though our house is netted and mosquito-proof, it takes only one pest to follow our human in. Fleas and mites can follow this way too.
Do take care, Admiral. Purrs from all of us.

I sure hope you get feeling all better sweetie, I agree with your Mom, that stuff is evil!

The stuff sounds really nasty. Did your mum give the vet feedback on the effects of the meds on you? Perhaps he/she isn't aware of the side effects?
I hope you continue to feel better as the effects wear off...
