I have to go to the V-E-T tomorrow. Mom made the appointment and tried to take me today but Dr. Rick had three surgeries and wouldn't be free till near the close of office hours. So, I heard her make it for in the morning. Well, Mom..good luck with THAT!
I need my semi annual blood work to see where I am in my course of treatment for hyperthyroidism. I need my allergy shot. I have held out for 7 weeks. Usually I can only make it to 5 weeks tops. I have been doing well but the time is getting near so Mom is going to try to get me in there.
Mom will be nervous in the morning trying to trap me. I'll be dodging her like a dodge'um car! NO one can get under furniture..behind things almost inaccessible as well as I can (except another kitty).
Here's to tomorrow..and whichever of us wins. I have a plan! She'll NEVER find me HERE!

Admiral, I had to enlarge the picture first thing before I knew anything about it. I looked and I looked and then, I saw it, I saw the bump in the blanket and I KNEW it was you. You are a real trip, you beautiful girl, you. My Sam sends his love but he's trying to be quiet about it since Lucy is trying to read over his shoulder. Shhhhhhhhh, we won't tell ;)
At least you have time to plan your escape before tomorrow morning! If you do have to go, we hope you sing a lovely song for your mom all the way there! We do want you to be well though Admiral so we think you should go but make her pay for it when you get home.
You are very well hidden under the blanket for now, all nice and cozy. Let mom catch you tomorrow so that you will feel all better soon.

You know your Mom is gonna win this battle (as well she should!) She just has your best interests in her heart...she just wants to keep you healthy and strong so she can have you with her for a verrrrry long time.
I know the vet isn't fun but it is a necessary thing...

Ask her how SHE'D like getting into a wire cage and being dragged unceremoniously to a stabby place. I'll bet she'd be hiding so good you'd never find her! Well, let her take you, but make her pay big-time afterwards.

Hestorb, resist for all you're worth! Run, hide, hiss, spit, use the whapping technique with claws out, and then, if she ever manages to catch you, sing your best and noisiest opera from the confines of the horrid PTU. I'll be listening out for you, and may even join in! Word to the wise. Don't let her pick you up at all tomorrow, even if you think she only wants a cuddle. That's what my human does. She lifts me, snuggles my yummy tummy, and then, before I know it, I'm a prisoner of the PTU! They're double crossing at times, so don't trust her!
Admiral, we know how awful the v-e-t is, but you really need to let your mom get you into the ptu. Paws crossed for you both!
