I got mom up..she fed me, herself, checked email and by 7 she was ready to make the bed and get dressed. I know her routine so after she opened the door for me to get some whiffies, I recognized what she was about to do as she started at the hallway to make her way down to our bedroom. I raced at top speed down the hall, bounded once up onto the chest at the foot of the bed..she was there too.,as we ran a race and she managed to get the blanket and sheet just so far up and that was it. I was then plopped smack in the middle.
There is a certain sameness to my days it seems. Run a foot race (I have the advantage with four feetsies) with mom to see who gets to the bed first, me or her..and then, as I always win of course, lay there till I am good and ready to leave.
I didn't even give her time to tighten the bottom sheet up to make it more comfy for me at night time..er..I mean her comfort, of course.
She crept in here a few minutes ago...disturbed me!!! and flashed that awful box at me! I think she's trying to embarrass me with this picture she is posting. A person might think this past few days that all I do is SLEEP!I keep her on my personal leash by what I did last night as an example. To show her love, I hopped up into bed after she started reading and walked up to her face..sniffed her hair, and then I settled by holding her wrist with my two hands..laying my head on the back of her hand and enclosing her forearm with my tummy fur and back legs. She lays there a prisoner of my softness and love and lets me sleep while she stays on her back. No greater love on accounta she HATES sleeping on her back, Hahameow! Who da cat? Me! ♥

I laughed that you race to see who can get to the bed first. I rarely get to make the bed these days, there are always kitties strewn all over it. I pretend to be stern with them but secretely I love it :-)

yay for kitty routine! Myst has me make her a tunnel every morning by piling pillows up and the blanket over-top. 10AM time for nap-nap she says, and under she goes till the afternoon :)

Our mom makes the bed regardless, but actually, once we have her up, we don't usually settle on the bed again, not till she's left for work, anyway.
Hestorb, I aspire to be like you! I have the tummy fur bit down, but I didn't even think of imprisoning her by cuddling with my paws. Wow, lady, you really show us how it's done!
Admiral, now that I know the timing, I'll be over tomorrow to help impede the bedmaking routine. Imagine how suprised your Mom will be!

You certainly are da cat Admiral! I race Mommy every time she goes upstairs because it means she'll follow my floofy tail to the treat drawer. It works every time but I still haven't gotten daddy to fall for it.

Oh Miss Admiral, you look lovely as always! But we know what you mean. All of our pictures are now the same: Fuzzy on the couch, Zoe laying on her back, Fuzzy on the tree, Zoe laying on her back. We do way more stuff than that - we blame our pictures on the laziness of our mom, only taking pictures when we're in the same 2-3 spots.
