I must have been sleep walking. I'm sure of it. How else would I find myself lying on Mom's head during the night? I have never done such a thing before so that has to be the reason. She tells me I also walked up another time in the deep night time and scented all of her hair..over and over and then, settled down to sleep on her pillow at the top of her head. That is not me..trust me.
Then she tells me I came into bed again at another separate time and while I didn't really say anything to her, I made sure she was breathing by putting my face into hers. She was, and so I left as silently as I came up to check on her. She mentioned to me over breakfast of toast and kibbles, toast being hers, that I came up and inspected or scented about six times.
I don't remember any of it but I know she wouldn't have told me were it not so. I hope I rest better tonight. I just heard her say "YES! ME TOO" as she typed. Hey, I'm not responsible for sleep walking! It must have been that cluster of four kitty vitamins before bed. Yeah, that's it.

My friend, thank you so much for your kind words both on our blog and on Twitter. We're so touched by your kindness.
Myst & I were both awake many times last night and lots of purring & petting going on...
Yes, you are a big flirt! But thanks for telling me I am a gorgeous boy-kitty.
I've learned not to lie near beans while they're sleeping. They tend to roll over. (Don't want to get squished!)

Yup, those vitamins will do that to a kitty every time!!!!! xxxxxxx
We love our Moms so much and we have to protect them. Admiral, you're a good protector of your Mom and I hope you rest better tonight....Kassey
I'm sure your mom appreciated your checking to make sure she is still breathing!
Way to go Admiral!!! Take good care of mom as she is one in a million!
That's it Admiral, it was the kitty vitamins!! Your Mom is one of the good ones, so just remember that and all will be well. Take care now and be good to each other. Pets from Rusty ((HUGS))
When the weather gets cooler, we do a lot of that type of sleep walking too. It's kinda fun to wake up mommy and hear the change in her breathing even though we don't remember it of course since we were, uh, sleep walking!
Maybe it was an impawster and really wasn't you at all!
My Gingin luv kitty used to do that too. What she really loved was if I had been in the pool or jacuzzi at the apartments where I lived. The chlorine smell in my hair or on my skin would drive her mad with drool & the bitey and rubbing her face all over me. The most fun was when I would say 'NO!" and she would slink down the foot of the bed only to 'sneak' back up inches by inches until she was within reach of my hair again! SOOOOOO funny!
You can sleep walk on my head anytime.
Oh, yes, maybe an alien took over your body, Admiral. LOL. Either that or those are powerful vitamins! :-)
We think you just love your mom a WHOLE lot!
P.S. Tasha says thank you so much for the sweet comments!
Thomas says, "Gee, that's how I told mommy that I thought daddy would make a good daddy for the Teenage Mutant Ninja Kitty Horde!! Or was it jumping on his head in the morning and asking him or breakfast? It's been six years now so I don't remember. Besides, Feeders should keep their heads warm!!"
PS Mommy made daddy a shirt that says 'It was all Thomas' fault!' Harrumph! Oh wait... maybe it was!"
Oh Admiral, just cause it's YOU the Human said we could visit for a minute. Do you think you had trouble sleeping because deep in your subconscious you were missing me???? I am thinking of you, my sweet! Till Sunday!!! XOXO
Your just so caring that you even look after her in your sleep.
You are obviously a cuddle kitty, Admiral. And that's furry nice!
We're with Beaded Tail! We think it's the changing weather that's making you do this!!
Yes, sleep walking ... that's it for sure, Admiral! Have a great weekend, sweet friend!
Of course it's the vitamins! Here's a tip. Next time you check if mum's breathing, try licking her nose for instant confirmation. *wink*
Hee hee....Sometimes I wake up and Cosmo is on my head too! You silly sleep-walking kitties...we love you so :)
Your Mum will be grateful as the Autumnal nights grow chilly. A sleeping cat on a human head is known to be the best bed warmer of all and ensures the human will have the sweetest dreams.
Actually dear Admiral I'd put in an invoice for some extra treats for this night shift work

Blame the vitamins! It's just your true nature coming out when you think no one's looking, you sweet thing!!
