Of course, every day is a day of repose. That's my job.
I laid in the bed with mama last night and she was so tired she fell asleep with the light on. I was snuggled deep into her neck and shoulder. For some reason, after a strong dream whereupon I kicked mom enough to wake her up. I woke and looked startled I'm told. I made some soft, high pitched sounds..like protestations and came to my feet and left though I was wobbly with sleep. She hated to see me go but she got to turn out the light and more importantly get comfortable by turning over and she went right to sleep again.
In her blog she told about how she and a friend went out to eat that very night and they went to a new -to- her restaurant. Luckily for me, she left my supper out so I was not hungry waiting for her to return. To hear her tell it, that was a restaurant among restaurants for home cooked style foods of a Southern fashion.
I got combed again last evening..that's all I care about. You should feel my fur. Like cashmere and silk.
I've been a bit fussy today and yesterday. Counting down the weeks left (3) before the dreaded v-e-t visit and some blood chemistry. But it's for my good, she tells me. So I can have a lot more kisses and combing for a long time to come.
Bonks and purrs, Kitties.

It is quite alright to be fussy when you know a vet visit is coming up. Those can be nerve rattling fur sure. Mine usually catch me by surprise!
Oh dear Admiral do not worry about your upcoming Vet visit. It is going to go purrfectly.

We'll cross our paws for you, Admiral, that the blood work comes back fine. How long have you been on the meds? Sometimes it takes a while to sort out the dose--and it's better to SLOW in terms of increasing it than to go too high too soon!
I've been taking it for two years and things are normal with the hyperthyroidism but mommy is starting to notice a little more action in the box this past week or so and she is concerned about incipient KD. Me and her sure hope NOT! Mommy keeps a list she hands to my Dr. when I have to go. That extra clump or two is on it.
We hope the v-e-t visit will go okay. We'd love to touch your silky, cashmere like furs too!
If only science could duplicate the beauty of your fur. Clothing manufactures would make a fortune because people would buy coats and sweaters in droves!
We're sure your Mom adored having you next to her sleeping; that is so sweet, Moms love when you do that=we sleep all around our Mommy on her bed...We hope everything is ok and the vet visit goes well; don't worry about it, sweetie...Kisses, beautiful friend, we love you, gorgeous girl...Calle, Halle, Sukki
Thank you Admiral for taking such good care of mommie. You deserve a day of repose.
Perhaps you were being tormented by vacuums and two-headed dogs in your sleep as I am...
Cashmere and silk?

Good job cuddling your Mom to sleep!
We will think positive thoughts for you vet visit. Remind your Mom to Not Stress about it!
Darn Rupert AGAIN?? No, It is *I* who am going all fainty with imagining that I can bury my little face in all that silky fur and make you forget all about that v-e-t guy! Mrrow.
A full cat day
Those catmares can be nasty. Hope you sleep better tonight. Maybe if your mummy pets that silky fur???
