Boy, what's a lady cat supposed to do? My furs had to wait several days while mommy was gone far far away! And when she got home last night, she fully brushed away a good cat's worth of fur. Mommy said she noticed my fur family over at Katnip Lounge also had a vigorous brushing and shed some cats over there too! You mommy's have to do a faster job on our summer furs, mommies and daddies! We have an image to uphold! My furs were even a little tangled and I had a few MATS! How embarrassing. I'm glad Spitty the Kitty didn't drop by! (or Felix)
When mommy and me went to our bed last night, I was soooo glad to see her that I checked all night long by sniffing her eyes and ears and mouth to make sure that was really her and not my baby sitter! Mommy doesn't mind and petted me even though she was so sleepy. My sitter came to feed me once a day but I refused to come out for lives so after mommy brushed all my fur off ( three brushes full!) we went to bed, as I said, and I held her tight and almost sang a song my purrs were so loud.
That awful carrier is still out from when she though I would have to be boarded. At the last minute she found my sitter so I got to stay. I know she will make me go in the next several days to the V-E-T for my allergies and have my bloods tested! I hate that! I also need a manicure. But worse, I couldn't blog and now..she is helping me.
Me and mommy missed all of my kitty family here. Headbonks and purrs.

We're glad your mom is back, Admiral. We can well imagine how you missed her! We bet your mom missed you too, very much. Just try and let her get some sleep tonight, okay? Humans don't have the ability to sleep as well as we cats, or at any time, so she needs her rest! :-)
Boarded oh MY, thank goodness that didn't happen!
I can just imagine your melodic purrs for I have heard that from my kitty.
"held her tight"makes my eyes well up :)
Admiral that was a lot of brushing!
It was smart of you to keep checking last night to make sure your Mommy didn't go anywhere.
I think she was glad you did.
But we are all glad you're back and that your Mom is safe and home with you.

We're glad your mommy is back Admiral! It was nice of you to check on her throughout the night to make sure she was still there! We don't like to be brushed so we would love to have a vacation from that!
Nice to see the beloved feline holding up well.
We are so happy that your mom is home now and that you got a good brushing, Admiral!
It's nice you got to stay home AND got brushed when your mummy got back. Better forbid her to leave ever again...
Admiral, we didn't know it was almost a boarding situation...if we lived closer Mommy would have been delighted to Admiral-sit.
It's too bad you have to go to the evil vet. Ick! But at least your Mom got you all spiffed up so not too many people will have to touch you and stuff. Double ick!
Felix says he thinks you are beautiful, but his heart belongs to another. However, you DO have a secret admirer here...he's grey and slender and his name rhymes with "Poopert". Can you guess?
Hug your Mom tight tonight!
we're glad your mommy is back :)
we missed you!
sorry to hear that your fur was neglected for a few days....such awful news!
purrs,
Maya and Harley
Well hurray for returning Moms! Such loving welcomes should encourage your Mom to stay put dearest Admiral. I'm glad your furs are now ship shape and Bristol fashion again. Best of luck for the vet check up

I am so glad mommy is back to take care of you!
Oh Admiral! I wish you could have come over and spent the weekend with me. We could have gotten into all kinds of mischief, and you prolly could have saved me from the stranger-pets!
Hello Admiral, Thanks for stopping by the blog that I write with MissDazey. Please drop in any time, so you and I can share secrets. hehe
