Good thing I took such good care of her! She woke up not coughing as much as usual and she slept 10 hours because she had to go to sleep at 8:30 last night she was so exceedingly tired. Today though she coughed and coughed last night, she has hardly coughed BUT her throat started getting sore on one side.
That worried her a little with the onset of a symptom so suddenly, so she took herself off to the Urgent Care clinic where you just walk in and wait. Three hours she sat sandwiched with an entire waiting room full of folks. Three hours later and after a swab for strep, mama found she has a virus, upper respiratory and that she is still contagious. She got a prescription for a cough preparation and will return to the drug store for it. She was perishing for her lunch after such a meager breakfast and I was sending her subliminal messages to come home!!! So, she has eaten, drinking a ginger ale and me, I am meowing and typing this.

Merlin says you're doing a great job of taking care of your Momma... keep on a talking to her, it keeps her from feeling lonely. Plus, she speaks fluent Miss Catt so she understands every word you say!

And at doctor's place and she has waiting for three hours an urgent care....
Anyway now more an important things are your mum needed to have a good rest though I hope you are well enough to look after your mum.
