Kitties, now Nikita, aka Nik and I are both OTRB but our love lasts forever.  Here we are.  Isn't he a typical mancat?  Asleep.  Heeeeee.

Fly Away Home

Furriends, dear furriends, today is the Angelversary of my Admiral's passing to the Rainbow Bridge.  My tears are falling just as much as I write this as they did when she left me.

Here is what I wrote that day.  One of the worst, hardest and most heartbreaking days of my life up to that day in time.

Please know I am putting my soliloquy here again in loving tribute to Lady Bianca, Admiral.    I miss you terribly dear girl, but the gift of Kathryn Isabella has mostly dried my tears, beautiful Tortie girl.  Mommy loves you.

My little one flew away to the Rainbow Bridge today. We, her Doctor and I have worked very hard to enable her able to enjoy her life and all the love she has received and that she freely gave back, but she was tired and whispered it was time to go. She flew away and took my heart with her. I will always love her and I will always miss her. She was the most loving girl I could ever have been fortunate enough to have. We have just sailed that sea of grief and tears as far as we were able to go together. Thank you darling girl, for choosing me to take care of you and love you these fourteen years. 

To all of her friends, thank you from the bottom of my heart for caring about my girl in the last stages of her illness. You have truly been a comfort. Much love to you all.

My Anniversary

Five years ago today, Nik (@catrulers) and Admiral (whose given name is Bianca)   (@admiralhestorb) joined paws together for  marriage.  Admiral flew to the Rainbow Bridge not too long afterward, but Nik and Admiral's love is a lasting journey into tomorrow and tomorrow and beyond.  Their love lasts forever.  

Now Admiral's dear Nikita is on the Bridge with her. He flew away to join her December 26, 2015. But until then, she kept watch over him to keep him happy and safe.  They are together again, and they await their families by and by.  Rest in peaceful slumber,  precious fur babies. Mommy loves you so much.  Both of you.

Kitties, just a month before I went to the Rainbow Bridge, mommy got up early one morning and look who she saw in the darkened living room when she turned on the light!

She praised and praised me for being the consummate hunter I was!  I was proud and happy to show off my work.

Mom Was Thinking of Me.

Kitties, Mom has been thinking about me all afternoon.  She was sent pictures that Mariodacat collected for her from Twitter back in December 2011 when mom was too sad to do anything....of all the Pals who gathered on my #Admiral Porch on Twitter, just before I went to the Bridge and right afterward.

 Seeing all the pictures of my Pals from Twitter and reading their words, and reading all my Furriends comments here on the CB that day I had to leave Mommy, was a precious thing for her to see  again after these five years.  She was so grateful and still is for all the love expressed for me and for her at that most terrible time.

Some Furriends and Pals made some pictures for momma.  They are much much loved to this minute I know.  May I show you a few, my dear Furriends?  The top one sends mom into such tears and sadness each time she sees it as it is so evocative of my final journey.  All are deeply appreciated.  All of you friends here in the CB came quickly to hold my mom in love while she grieved over me.  Thank you.   And I send Angel kisses to each of you.  I always do.
