My Anniversary

I flew away from mommy December 14, 2011 and that broke momma's heart into pieces.  She did not think she could recover but as time passed and dear CB and Twitter friends called and emailed and texted, the pain became one iota lighter so that momma could sleep a little and get through the day with all the reminders that I am not there.  The clean living room, all rooms fur free.  No toys anywhere to be seen (momma could not throw them away.  She did give the new ones away and my foods but kept many of my old toys, placed lovingly away and wept over.  Someone else in the family has those as well as her own now.

I gained my wings and used them to guide momma to Kathryn Isabella.  I chose a beautiful girl Tuxie for her to love and to help me take care of her because now, I can only see her in her dreams and sometimes, just on the other side of the gossamer curtain-like barrier that keeps us in the Bridge where we are. I let her see me for a millisecond in a glimmer, waiting peacefully and lovingly.

Her heart will never not have me in it as are Robin, Hopping John, ExCalibur,  Miranda, Katie and Blackie.

I chose Katie and I led momma straight to her and Katie to momma.  It was a day to remember because I had only been gone for five weeks.  Momma never thought of having another cat.  She didn't want to so as not to suffer so horribly all over again.  But I chose someone who needed her and oh, my furriends, she needed Katie.  I know Mom and Katie have written of their meeting.  It was total love at first sight on both sides.

I just wanted to ask momma to help me let you know I am, as are other fur babies for their families waiting for momma to come on home.  I'll be there momma.  I will.  You can count on it.

Admiral and Her Nikita

Four years ago today, Nik (@catrulers) and Admiral (whose given name is Bianca)   (@admiralhestorb) joined paws together for  marriage.  Admiral flew to the Rainbow Bridge not too long afterward, but Nik and Admiral's love is a lasting journey into tomorrow and tomorrow and beyond.

Good Day dear kitties and woofies!

Mom waited way too long to celebrate my being with her so long and I am here to remind her.  I asked Sister Katie for her space this meowing and it made mom feel badly though Katie quickly and happily gave over her space in her blog.

Here I am.  My mom remembers me every day and loves me just as much as she ever did while I still was here to protect and love her.  But I gave her over into good paws.  Momma loves both of us. xo
