Saturday thoughts

I am sending mom some of my thoughts from the Rainbow Bridge.

I know she has been and still is grieving as we had fourteen loving years together as companions. She has her humans friends and my human brothers but she so missed the comfort of a furry...most particularly me, to hold and love.

So I found her another furbaby by the name of Katie. I made sure they crossed paths as soon as I could arrange it. Mom had gone to the Vet's to inquire where she might look at some cats when they showed her that they had five kitties and 2 woofies they were helping house for the animal rescue group, as the foster homes were over crowded. There I was. Mom was also given my paw print that had been cast in plaster or some plaster like material on that same visit at the Vet's. She got that and met Katie. What else did I need to do to make it plain that I had chosen Katie for her?

So you know the rest of the story..mom brought her home and they have been loving companions since. Monday to come will make two full weeks that Katie has been in our home..now hers too. I just wanted you to know.

Mom said she is going to have to try to get my furriends to Katie's blog somehow. She only has a few..and she misses all of my furriends as much as she loves Katie's newer ones as well.

Love and whisker tickles...

You do good work Admiral - your guiding Katie to your mom was the best thing you could have done for her. Yes, she still loves you very much and always will, but having Katie to love and keep her busy, she doesn't have time to just sit around and be sad. We love you Adniral and always will.

Sweet Admiral, we think Katie Isabella was the best thing you could make happen for your Mom, because for all we can tell, it has helped her a lot with her grieving. Katie seems like such an affectionate cat, and since you were so loving, we know that is important to your Mom. Now, about the mouse Katie almost caught: did you have a paw in that too? We still remember you great mouse catch last year.

Admiral Hestorb, my Mom has been terrible about even turning the computer on and I hadn't heard about your leaving for the Rainbow Bridge. I am so sorry that you had to go. You did a great thing by uniting your Mom with Katie. I will insist that Mom check out Katie's blog right now. Purrs to your Mom.

We miss you Admiral. You showed how much you love your mom by arranging Katie to be with her. Sending lots of purrs to you.

Ma cherie, Your Mommy REALLY needed a furry friend--you taught her well that it was not good to live happily without a sweet purry girl to love on. It was really good that you put Katie in her path, cause just between you and me, I think was getting a little desperate ;-)

I miss you, my sweet, but I whisper to you and I know you hear me. And you will be waiting just for me when the time comes, right? XOXOXO

Hi again, sweet Admiral, just wanted to tell Mom that I discovered one of her comments on 1/12/12 was considered SPAM, so this tells me to check from now on to see who else Google is calling SPAM.
You can click on DESIGN and then on COMMENTS, at the top of the page, it will tell how many SPAM.
I haven't found anywhere to remove the REPLY.

I gotta admire that in you, Admiral. After I go, first I'm gonna haunt the peeps and then if they get another cat, I'll prolly burn down the condo or something. Me, jealous?? Nah.

I give you lots of credit for leading your mom to Katie. I don't want to think about how sad mom and dad will be when it's my time, never mind them even thinking about a new kitty.
