Kitties! I will have my fourteenth birfday on the 11th of this month and a special mancat will share that occasion with me. Nik, GingerMan, will be having his fifteenth birfday on the 22nd of the month. We decided to share our birthdays just as we share the basket and our love and regard for one another. When I was being very uncooperative for awhile yesterday Nik heard about that cranky pants behavior of mine from his mom and he so went UTB immediately (for privacy) and communicated with me telling me his concern and love. I listened to him and bloomed the rest of the day and evening- asking for fuds, staying in the sunpuddles and purring for mama just as he wished me to do.
This picture shows Nik watching over me, protecting me and loving me. It's one of mom's favorites and depicts our relationship, mine and his. ❤
Mom will be headed to Norris Lake somewhere about noon today and getting on a boat with a park ranger and others to get Fall foliage pictures. She said to wish her luck.

That is SUCH a precious picture of you and Nik. You have both done well to get up to 14 and 15 years of age. Of course we hope you will have more birthdays, but for now we will just celebrate your 14th, sweetie. Have some lovely FF instead of cake, and some spa water to wash your pill down. Its great to have special friends! We can't believe you'll be 14! Carlos and Julie turned 14 earlier this summer. It must have been a good year!
