Caturday

Mommy here: Here next is my reward for working hard in PT.

I knelt on the floor to thoroughly brush my baby girl for the first time in 8 weeks. I mean really got all the way down without pain, surrounded her with my arms, kissed her all over and commenced to brushing and combing. Any cat parent knows what a precious thing it is to hear purring SO deep and loud it's like a choo choo train coming through. Been weeks since I heard that caliber of purring. And to have her head in my other hand (the lame one) while I brushed and kissed that little face and to cut out tiny mats (I can get thumb and forefinger together now!) her velvet paws on my mouth and cheek while I brushed..that was a sweet gift. Best gift I've had in well...eight weeks. :-) Just sayin'.

My beautiful canvas print arrived..a Gallery Wrap..that I won from Beaded Tail's random drawing. Totally beautiful. I have it on the wall in here but was unable to get a decent photo due to physical constraints. I love it and I'm so happy to have won it.

Back to Admiral: Gees, mom..thanks! You took all the room!

What a lovely thought today. I remember how it felt to finally hold Sweet Praline in my arms after my two shoulder surgeries. It makes me sad to realize I only had less than a year left with her after my second shoulder surgery. Treasure every moment with Admiral!
