oh gee whiz..moare about. her..sigh

Kitties!! The thing other than mom's wrist that I was even more concerned about was mommy's leg. She had a rip snortin' infection called cellulitis all up and down the right leg. It inflamed the leg way out of proportion and made walking difficult. The pain level was high enough for powerful medications.

Her visit to her GP yesterday (orthopedic surgeon today at 2) was a good one in that he pronounced the infection vastly improved. Still there mind you but being routed out by the antibiotic. So far, three weeks worth. I loved on mommy bunches and whispered kitty words in her ear all the while we were in bed and she was asleep. I fink it's working.

The photo is of me being ernest and as a caretaker. Mommy can't hold a camera, focus or do the shutter release so all my pictures were already taken. I want that cast...which is up to her bicep, OFF! More scritches that way. ♥

That is a nasty cellulitis you Mom has. Hoping it continues to clear all the way up. We will look forward to hearing what the orthopedic doctor says about when her cast can come off. You need your skritchies NOW!

So Admiral, I guess you are a scritch free zone while mommy is otherwise preoccupied! You will be in danger of scritch overdose once she is unfettered.

Lots of cyber scritches from me, but please don't tell Austin. He is a scritch fiend.

PS Cyberhugs to Mom from me the mere human xx

Admiral, I am sure that the surgeon told your Mom to keep her leg elevated above her head as much as possible!!! There's only one antibiotic that my Mom takes when she gets cellulitis. Your Mom can email her if she is interested.

Ms. Admiral; you certainly deserve a huge promotion for all your selfless actions (although I don't think you can get higher than an Admiral in the Navy can you?).

Sending our love and purrs to your dear mum & her bum leg!
