I'm mad. Rilly rilly mad! There is a stranger in the house in our only bathroom with a SAW!!! Mom said he's tearing out the floor and by and by, we'll have a new one. It will take 2 days. He said the potty will be reinstalled for the night and taken up again in the morning to finish up. That means I can't hold down the bathroom floor for TWO days! And my meditation area in front of my second water dish is ruined! There will be consequences!! And I understand that mom's best friend will be here Monday and try to catch me for going to the V-e-t!!!!! I will be shaved in my legs and tummy because mom can't brush and comb my furs effectivly, hence I have mats.I will have a blood test to see how my hyper thyroidism is doing and my hyper calcimia. p
Plus I need to be weighed and get a mani and pedi...and find out why I seem to be making a few extra small pee pees in my box. Simba..the 2 wk. shot sounds perfect!!
I'm UTB for the duration.

Admiral, the loss of your meditation area must be very stressful. Will Mom use the litterbox in the meantime?
Uh oh re the pee pees. SHAVED? Sounds like maybe a UTI. One thing that helps is it seems the vet can administer a long acting antibiotic shot for that nowadays, so no pills if it works. I hope that will be your outcome. Audrey had a UTI back in January (stress related we think) and the shot sorted her out.
Have a good weekend UTB. Maybe Mom will give you some Klondike middle.
I am back. I am glad they can do something about your mats. You won't be happy while they do it, but afterwards will feel way better. My mats are on my sides. Mommy holds me and Daddy cuts them out one or two at a time, and it makes me look stupid from the side. But I guess not getting them out just lets them recruit more and more fur and get bigger and bigger.
Oh dear, Admiral, you've got to be brave to face it! Hope you don't have urinary tract infection. Sending lots of purrs to you and your mom.
Think how beautiful your drinking places will be when the man gets through in there.

This sounds simply AWFUL, Admiral! We had the bathroom man here a couple of years ago, and we were Not Allowed to help, or snoopervise, or anything! KonaKitty has mats too, and every night Mommy gets one out. Kona squeals like the scissors are slicing off her tail! Thank goodness one side is done...
Rupert will be there with snax so you don't get hungry UTB...and he promises to snag any passing ankles for you!
Oh my. So much going on, but what a nice new floor you will have to hold down and your medication area will be so pretty. Fit for a Queen. You will feel so comfy when those nasty mats are gone.

We don't think those plans include any fun at all. Maybe you could get extra treats or pets to compensate for all those things? We would be happy to come stay UTB with you if you would like.

Oh oh....the weekend doesn't sound very nice. And Monday sounds even worst. Poor Baby. I hope those extra small puddles aren't anything to worry about and that you have gained weight, your blood tests are good AND the vet will be gentle when shaving your mats off (you will feel a lot better once those mats are off)...

Well that is a big apart of ourlives a bad things coming in same time? You are not looking for visit for the V-E-T.
but you must check it up though this time you might have a good results from the V-E-T.
After that you can bring your mum in here for a little rest,you can watch Miyuki having a hot bath in the garage:-)
You can have Tuna or salmon for your dinner...
And your Mum and I go to somewhere nice the chicken dish with Big fat chocolate Ice cream:-)
