Love For Daisy

Today, Mom is giving my blog over to fellow blogger and Twitterer, Cathy Keisha. I ask each of you to please..please go to her page which I have supplied here with Cathy's name and read precious Daisy's story. Please make this horrific story known throughout our blog world and Twitter as it already is becoming--- for this hideous crime needs to be addressed.

Warning..this is a terribly sad and horrific event. It took me a week to read it. But to raise awareness, it needs to be done and we need to do what we can to help catch the perp and raise awareness.

Daisy was awarded the beret you see her wearing from the Whiskas Liberation Front (#WLF), a Twitter group soley concerned with animal welfare. The concern and care is huge.

Please help by raising awareness. xoxox

Yes, we read about Daisy on Cathy's blog. I hope the person is found, that someone turns him in, as we know that people who abuse animals often go on to abuse humans, too...

Admiral, thank you very much for sending so many purrs and headbutts to make us feel comforted and much loved.
Please thank your mom for us, too.
Yes, our human read about Daisy earlier somewhere. It's really sad.

So very nice of you to post this. It's horrific, and I sure hope they can find whoever did it. They need to be punished severely. In this case an "eye for an eye" type of punishment would be gooid.

Dearest, We will purray for all our kitteh (and doggeh) brofurs and sisfurs who have suffered or suffer at the hands of bad humans, and we think anyone who does such evil to a helpless creature should be banished from the earth.

My Human can.not.read.such.things though, because she knows from past experience that she can NEVER get the mental pictures out of her head. She knows that is wrong, but she can't help it. So she has to NOT read these things. When she can, she tries to send the green papers to organizations that help our furriends.

XOXOXO

We are purraying for Daisy, but our mama can't go to read about her........she gets so upset by animal cruelty that she gets ill herself.

Bless you for raising awareness about Daisy.

We love you!!!!!!!!

Mommy feels sick to her stomach after reading about poor Daisy. How can some people be so deranged and cruel?

Mommy read the story yesterday and was haunted by it all day. This sick person needs help. And permanent incarceration.

Our mommy is all leaky from just what she's read here so she can't go read about Daisy. We wish no animal ever had to suffer at the hand of humans and the humans that do harm to animals should be severely punished. We're sending purrs to Daisy.

Hi Admiral san. By your description and comments above, I am very scared to go and read the story. In the past, I read an article about a kitty who was hurt by someone severely and it has haunted me. But it is very important to raise awareness and thank you for doing that.

Thanks for posting this to raise awareness. My mama read about this over on Cathy's blog and was in tears. What a horrible person, if you can even call such an evil creature a person. I hope they catch them.

Unlike some other, more sensitive humans, mine has become hardened by the realities of animal cruelty (all the better to fight against it), but even she was horrified and disgusted by what Daisy went through! I am so glad that Daisy is on the mend, but I would REALLY like to see the perpetrator captured and prosecuted!

Admiral, we couldn't read the whole story about Daisy. We just cannot believe there are humans out there that are so sick to cause such harm to an innocent animal. But there are. And it makes us sad to know that. We hope that this evil sick person that harmed Daisy is found and locked up never to do anything like this again.

Horrible, just horrible. What a sick individual. How someone can hurt a defenseless animal is beyond me. I just read of a poor little dog shot dozens of times and buried alive yet survived and is healing.

That is sick, depraved. We hope the perpetrator is caught and punished, but poor Daisy, what she has endured.

I had heard about Daisy's story, and it's just the saddest, worst thing ever. How can someone be so terrible? Daisy is a fighter and she's making a good recovery..I hope the sick person who hurt her is brought to justice soon.
