Who needs a fitness CD when you have me? I keep the ol' girl rocking and rolling. No kidding. She gets aerobic and then some with me!
This morning at 7:30 I started the race. The flags came down and off we went. I can run really fast and mom ran full tilt (yes, she did) after me to my bedroom. Then, skidding to a halt (me- not her) I turned on a dime and ran full tilt BACK again to the living room with her, silly mom, behind me. Then, I sharpened my claws (she didn't do hers) on my sisal rope post and we ran hard down the hallway again with a stop at and onto our bed! I couldn't let her catch me! She'd tickle me and give me those stupid ol' kisses all over me again and then, I'd have to launder my furs to get the human off of them. That takes a LOT of my valuable tongue time so I hid. I always know this is a great place. She never thinks to look for me here-it works every time, kitties.
I thought I heard some action from the flashy box a few minutes ago (I am typing this from my ultra top secret hiding place where no one can ever find me) but likely I'm wrong. There can't be any flashy box when no one knows where I am. I think that sound I heard was the house settling. Yes, I think that's what it was.
Oh, and no entertainment this morning at the breakfast place mat. I get my funs looking back and watching her jammies flapping when shes on a dead run fruitlessly trying to catch me, as if!! Oh Kitties, it's so funny. ♥

This made our mom smile, but wistfully, because one of Annie's favourite games was to have the mom chase her through the house and up the stairs into the bedrooms.

Oh Admiral you do have fun! My Human is not quite so agile, but we do enjoy a good chase game quite often. She's pretty slow though, so it's not much of a challenge.
