Kitties!!!
"If you're furry and you know it say meow...if you're furry and you know it, say meow! If you're furry and you know it,then your plume will surely show it, if you're furry and you know it, say meow!"
That was composed and sent to my mom in an email by her oldest human son Erich yesterday and I asked her to share if with everyone 'cause I liked it.
Last evening, mom's son came to see us. He's still here for breakfast and he got to see ME...which is always a pleasure and I get lots of kisses and loves. But he got to see me in my new CUBE! Mommy hurried for the flashy box 'cause she never knows if that will be the last time I'll go in it or not. Things look good though for me to play and sleep in it.
Oh..and mom speaking here...I was talking to Teri of FurryDance last evening and she told me something she had heard in a seminar..that humans have pets because they stay children forever or words to that effect. How true it seems to me. We love our babies, whether kitties or woofies so much and they love us back with all their being no matter what. I know I have already written about this several times but I wanted to pass on that lovely bit of information that Teri of FurryDanceCats mentioned to me.
Mom..get off the keyboard and MY blog with your philosophizing! Here's the important part..ME in my cube! Rupert? Spitty?

We love your little song at the beginning of your blog today - and we are singing it together but we can't understand why mum has her fingers in her ears!!
Oh Admiral it is so nice to see you in your cube, I was hoping you would warm up to it!!!
I think we will be singing that song all day long!!! Have a wonderful weekend sweetie Admiral!
I love the song! And, like Brian, it will be in my head all day too :)
Hope you are having fun with your human brother and getting lots of snuggles and scritches!
Have a great weekend, sweetheart xx
You look lovely in your cube Admiral and I do love the verse that mommy's son composed for you.
Meow says Sammy.....
Meow says Andy......
You look totally adorable in your new cube, sweetie.....happy Caturday. xxxxxxxx
Admiral, you look great in your cube! I've been hiding. Have you seen those reindeer antlers they put on the Reader's Digest cat? I am concerned that Mom will get some for me.
Mandu
You rang?
On my way, sweetcheeks! Gotta beat that shaggy black street ruffian!
Good Morning Admiral. You look cozy in your cube. heehee, the cube of cozy cuteness! I like the song too. We know Miss Teri & she certainly is a wise woman. I'm sure there are many humans out there who keep pets for that reason however That Woman say's she has us cats because she loves Cats (with a capital C)
And good morning to Mr. Spitz too! *flutter, flutter*
Ok; That Woman has got to get some serious work done & since it's raining outside I'm going back to lie down once I finish reading my CBlog friends...
That is a very cool cube! We have a cube but haven't used it for awhile.....hey neighbor, you live in New Hope? We live in Bedminster, right outside the park...up 611! Mommy loves the New Hope train and Peddlers Village. =^Y^=
so cute!!! The cube and the song!
I agree with you about our pets being our "babies" I had read somewhere that when you hold a cat in your arms it is almost the exact weight of an infant and that that is why so many women find them to be so soothing. xoxo
Alright Admiral you look wonderful trying out your new cube.
We loved the song from your 'brother'!
Interesting thought about loving kitties because they always remain child like to us...very interesting. Mom thinks sometimes that I am the same age as she is and that she talks to me like a child. If only she could read my mind. HA!

You look adorable in your cube, Admiral. Interesting thought about pets being forever young and like children. Julie here..the more I think about it, it's so true. That's why the attachment is so strong and heartbreaking when the unexpected happens. We love, love, love, love (one for each of mine) our pets!
Have a good weekend!
xoxoTom
Admiral! We're so happy to see you in your cube!!
Hello, Admiral! It is a very lovely song. Your mom's son Erich has great musical talent!
I love your new cube. It has pictures of kitties! You look very comfortable there :-)
Have a wonderful weekend!!
Meow!
Meow!
Love, Wolfie ...
That's a very lovely cube!
Mom, asked me SpiderMeow to say thank you for the kind words when she is feeling 'funny' (Wolfie says "W.E.I.R.D" though).
It is gestures like your mom's that keep her smiling despite her battling with her invisible monster!
Love, Wolfie (aka SpiderMeow)
Admiral, I think you should go inside your new cube and whip your fur back and forth! You whip your fur back and forth!
So you changed your mind on the cube!
Little sanctuary of silence!
That was a great song! We think you look fabulous in your cube, and our mom is impressed that you like it. She once bought a bed kind of like your cube but darker (the 'door' wasn't as big, and it was more like a cave). The shy boy Zachary got into it and fell asleep, but the ex-dad didn't know that. He picked it up to move it, and that about scared poor Zak to death. No cat ever got near it again. Poor mom.
Your friends, Fuzzy and Zoe
Meow! We really liked your song!
