Mom said I seem to be stuck in a rut here. This was taken of me about twenty minutes ago. She said I am doing the same as I have always done..continue to wear out a place for however long then give it up for like...forever, never going back. It's been two years since I napped in my rocking chair. Now I won't get out of it.

Sometimes we all need a change from time to time. We have our favorite places too and they change every week, month, year or two. We happen to think you are absolutely adorable in the rocking chair with your dolls!
You look great in the rocking chair and anyway we need to keep our mums on their toes - they would get too complacent if we didn't change their routine.
It's a Lady's perogative to change her mind!

Hestorb, the problem is that they think they know it all. She's surprised you've gone back, but that's only because she believes she knows you inside out. What she doesn't know is the feline secret... You know the one I mean? The one which lets us know when it's time to go back to a place we've had to pretend to be indifferent to for a long time? I won't write it here, just in case the human reads. Keep your lips sealed, Hestorb. She's only pretending to be innocently curious. Really, she seeks the secret of the mind of her cat! Give nothing away! And if you need back-up, just look me up. I have an extra cube you can hide in and they'll never find you... At least, I will when I can coax the human to get it out for me.

Admiral, it's okay to do what you want. We sometimes sleep in one place for a long time and then never sleep there again. The weather has a lot to do with it...for example, in the summer we hardly ever sleep on mom's bed, but in the winter, you can't get us off of it.
Heh, heh! It's the same feline quality that makes us eat a certain food EXCLUSIVELY, right up until our Humans buy, like, 100 cans of it, and then PFFT! Nope, don't want it no more, no how!
It's part of the commandments of being a real kitty!
