The Day After the Night Before

Mom was gone last night for quite a time but when she did get home and helped me check my bloggie, I kept pacing and making small sounds to let her know it was after 11 for pity sakes and lets go to bed! I don't like being kept up like that!

This morning, after we both had our breakfasts, we played. I jumped up on the bed as soon as she went in to start making it. I had it timed perfectly. She barely got her hand out and I was in like Flynn. So she got a stick and poked around under the covers and I attacked. She wishes she could have taken a picture of my face 'cause my pupils were so wide she could barely see the beautiful green of my irises. We didn't chase each other this morning but once. I was exhausted with keeping her from making the bed.

Kitties, I weight 10.4 pounds and have weighed that for several years. I vary by an ounce sometimes. But next time mom takes me in to the v-e-t (that will be in a couple of weeks) she is concerned about my weight-- maybe-- as I have not eaten much of my stinky goodness or even my dry morsels. Oh, I have eaten, yes, but not quite the way she is used to. We will see what is up IF she can successfully trap me and get me into that hated carrier. I always ALWAYS make it as hard as possible for her, without fail. It's my job.

She's not worried yet.

Mister Kitten says, "Admiral! You need to eat stinky goodness or I will come steal it!! Mom only gives us Iams dry... and a few treats. I'm 15.5 pounds (I weighed myself a few days ago) and I can tell you putting on more muscle will make you feel better!!"

Star says, "My darling, please eat the stinky goodness that your mom is giving. Otherwise, I shall have to send the entire Teenage Mutant Ninja Kitty Horde after you!!"

Admiral my Mom and I both hope that all is ok!!
Be careful with a trick my Mom uses to get me in the carrier. She puts food in my bowl...as soon as I am about to enjoy it "WHOOOOSH" she grabs me and stuffs me in my carrier! Love, Cody

Admiral, we'll cross our paws that all will be well at your next v-e-t check.

Annie is a picky eater, and whenever she passes on a meal (like this morning), it throws our mom into a tizzy of worry. Mind you, Annie ate the junkie treats she got!

Admiral, I hope that your trip to the vet will prove to mom that you are OK. You know she does worry about you, that is the number one job for a mom, worrying about the ones we care about.

Admiral, I so look forward to checking in with you every day. It sounds like your mama must have been out for some Halloweeny fun! Sometimes we humans take you off your schedule, but you'll have to forgive us. We like to have a good time too :)

I really hope you are feeling well -- good to keep an eye on things, right? xx

Miss Admiral, when I'm ready to go to bed, I just go on up there - I can't wait on my mom. I hope everything is ok with you - it really freaks our moms out when we lose weight, huh?

Your friend, Fuzzy

Admiral, I am a picky eater and Mommy thinks that's why I got too thin...she's been slipping me yummy kibbles on the sly to fatten me up! They are delishus and I gobble them down, not very ladylike; but I can't help it they are sooooo good.
Good luck on evading the vet visit!

Thing 1 loves to unmake my bed. He will climb under the covers from the side where it hangs down. Then there's the big blob under the bedspread for hours.
