This is me,trying to be impressed with the new toy mommy bought me at the kitty toy store yesterday! It's a almost hummingbird sized felt birdy that actually has a birdy song that starts each time its touched. Do I care!? Read my beautiful lips. No I do not. Silly mommy kept activating its sound hoping I would at least reach out and bat it once..nope. Not gonna do it. So there went five green papers plus tax. I hope when my Plague Ratsie and nanner comes, I will be more enthusiastic on accounta mama won't buy me as much if I don't show some thanks someway or other.

Me and mommy DID chase one another up and down the hallway though, and she teased me with waggling her fingers outside of the window to my new house! I loved that! I even kept my claws tucked up tightly so I wouldn't accidentally scratch her.

I love my plague rat. I just love to rub on the nose of if where the cat nip is. That Woman knows it's there too cos every now and again she'll crunch up the nose to release more of that lovely smell!

It was very nice of you to keep your weapons sheathed. I do sometimes too. She laughs when I smack her hand real hard with no claws cos it makes a funny noise. Humans are soooo weird!

One of Annie's favourite games is to have her human chase her through the house and up the stairs. But she also likes to pounce on the stick end of a feather wand when the mom puts it under paper on the floor and wiggles it around. And she loves her laser light. So we hope you'll appreciate at least one of the toys your mom gets you, Admiral!

Perhaps you new toy would be fun attatched to a string...Mommy did that for a few of ours and she Fishes for Kitties! It's a blast.

Miss Admiral, you are looking SPLENDID today!

Oh I know you are going to love that birdie! You are just waiting for Mama not to be watching (probably when she is sound asleep) and you will start batting it all over!
You know we do have to appear more grateful...my Mom doesn't buy me as much when I act bored with it. Play with it once just to make her happy....then you will get more toys!
Love, Cody

Sigh. Toys have kind of lost the allure they had when I was just a boycat. The Human said she might order me one of those plague ratsies, even though she thinks they're pretty creepy.

I really like the toys she keeps in the jar with the valerian root in it, though. That stuff is pawsome!

Admiral, sorry you didn't like your new toy but it sounds like your mommy is the best toy and playmate of all!

Well, I don't have my plague ratsie yet because the Human has not yet ordered me one (gee, what a surprise, huh?), but IF I finally do get it, I will definitely show you.

About the valerian root: My friend Scouty sent it to me all the way from the Katnip Lounge, and I just LUBZ it. I am sure Momkat Trish would be happy to tell you where it came from (unless Scouty stole the card & ordered it himself, which frankly I would not put past him, MOL!)

Thank you to visit my blog today.

The way I did when I doesn't like the new toy, Pretending to interested and play a couple min. just to make my mom happy and then just leave the toy for food.

But Mom Trish ( Katnip Lounge ) made a really great advice, My dad do that too. Just attach the string to the toy. That made the silly toy become a favorite toy suddenly.

Admiral, you get bored easily like I do. I hope you'll like the new toy Mom is getting you. I guess we want our beans to play with us. I enjoy Mom pitching things, so I can retrieve it, but I don't bring it to her like she wants. I mean, does she think I'm a dog?...meow....Kassey

I do not like toys that make noises! I am pretty sure you will love your catnip bananer though!

Admiral, you're absolutely right. You do have to show some interest or the toys stop coming! You have a good time with your human, though, which is just as important.

Miss Admiral, this picture makes your eyes look so beautiful! Guess what? My mom bought me a toy at Walmart a while back that made bird noises - it did it the entire time she walked through the store and checked out. I don't like that toy. Every once in a while she'll accidentally kick it or make it chirp while she's picking stuff up, and we all act like we didn't hear anything. She rarely has good taste in toys. However, the catnip banana has been a hit with all 4 cats who have ever lived here!

Your friend, Zoe
