That's my human grandpa there where my whiskers are on the picture. There are about 20 some whiskers on the picture right now but mom will have to think of something else as I deserve a frame all of my own. And grandpa does too. I am so amazed and impressed with Katnip Lounge's collection. Their mama is good at finding whiskers. Usually mine are a little harder to find but Mom fell into a bonanza of them this Spring. They were laying everywhere. I sprouted two white ones too..not that I'm old or anything. No, not me.
I wish Mom would quit that incessant coughing! It wakes me up at night and if I happen to be on her belly while we're reading or about to go to sleep...that coughing rocks me like a ship in the ocean. Good thing I'm an admiral, all I've got to say. That sneezing 13 or 15 times in a row has got to stop! How on earth can I sleep peacefully with THAT going on. My word!! And she has been using tissues so much it looks like a snow storm in the kitchen trash. Mom..you have to quit!!!
Kitties, I noticed that when I make tiny sweet high pitched little squeaks and half meows..I have mom in the middle of my paw. She melts. You ever try that?
I am showing you the box momma is going to collect my whiskers in now. A good friend made this for her. I'm her sweetheart so it's appropriate.

Oh, purrs to your mom, it sounds like she's got a bad cold. We hope she feels better very soon!
That's a sweet box for your whiskers, entirely appropriate. And much nice than the plastic baggie our mom uses.
BTW, Derry doesn't really meow, unless he's in the carrier heading for the v-e-t and then he meows piteously the entire time. He typically makes squeaky or chirpy sounds and it makes him seem very kittenish to our mom. It absolutely works on her, without fail.
Oh yes my darling Sistah! The 'Silent Miaow' is what works for me every time! It Are The Awesome! Treaties galore!

Very pretty box for storing whiskers, I must say!
Thanks for visiting Dante again. Don't you have a boyfriend, Admiral? It seems you are getting pretty hot under your furs for my Dante.
He thinks you're kind of cute, too, you know.
Hope your mommy feels better soon. As much as you don't like the coughing, I'm sure she likes it even less.
I've never thought of collecting whiskers, but we have picked up a few claws that were shed here and there -- they're fascinating!
Admiral, that's a fine collector's box for your whiskers. If my Mom missed any of my whiskers, she hasn't said. I sure hope your Mom gets better soon. My mom said she's gonna take more 'cough med'....snickers.. tonight,.....don't get motion sick.
Zaphy says, "Mommy makes a cough syrup every year that she makes the Feeders take when they are coughing. They hate it but it works. It's just Black Cherry Bark steeped in Cherry Brandy for a week or two and then strained out. (mom says you might find some in a health food store)"
Thomas says, "Mom also makes an icky icky poo poo thing that no on likes to take but her that is an anti-flu/anti-cold thing. 1 tsp cayenne (red) pepper, 1 tbsp sea salt crushed up together. Then put 1 cup of boiling water into them and stir until they're mixed well. After that add 1 cup apple cider vinegar (mom says it has to be that) and let it cool. Grown-ups can take between 1 tsp and 1 tbsp every half hour. It makes you feel better, makes your throat not sore, and gives you some energy."
The Teenage Mutant Ninja Kitty Horde & their Feeders hope that you feels better soon!!
Oh dear Admiral
your Mom is not feeling well. We will keep her in our purrs and hope she feels better furry soon. Love the box that your Mom is keeping your whiskers in, yes that heart shaped box is purrfect.

We think that heart shaped box is the purrfect place for keeping your whiskers! We're sorry your mom is sick and we hope she gets better soon so she can quit disturbing you.
My sisfur Isabella only squeaks and doesn't meow. It melts our daddy every time because she's a Daddy's girl! I use the soft meow/squeak on Mommy and she falls for it too!
Angel
That's a great little box for whisker keeping!
We hafta try that high pitched meowing...'cept it might be kinda hard for me. I got a real low meow...mom says it sounds like I've been smoking cigarettes or something...but I don't smoke! I only play with my nip cigar!!
Ernie
I recognise that box! I bought some whisker boxes myself a couple of years ago.
Well. we are going to speak with our Mommy. she collects our whiskers in an old cigar tin! Shameful. We want a tasteful box like you have!
Your poor Mommy. Sounds like she has a pretty bad cold...make sure you keep her nice and warm, especially when she's all feverish and sweaty. Rupert says he's ready to help!
Johnny is the master of the silent miaow at our house.
Poor Mama! You gots to be nice to her Admiral.
My poor Human is putty in my paws. Problem is, I don't know what to do with her.
We hope your Mom feels better soon, Admiral; we like your cool whisker box!...Love the puzzle too!...kisses, beautiful girl...Calle, Halle, Sukki
Your poor mum, better get her some cough medicine. Target practices that half meow on me, and it ALWAYS works.
That is the perfect pretty little whisker-keeper! Admiral, I hope your mom is feeling much better soon.
Admiral, I'm sorry your Mom has the coughs. And I learned something today -- you're losing your whiskers?? How sad!
Mandu
I hope your Mom's cough goes away! Hey, that is a cool thing to keep your previously owned whiskers in!
What a lovely feline you are. Even though her coughs and sniffles keep you awake, stay with her, your purrs will help make her feel better.
Nice to "meet" you.
Kat
I hope mom gets all better really soon as you are wearing yourself out taking care of her. You are truly a dedicated nursie.
