I have worn my claws down to nubs taking care of mommy. She stepped into the only little muddy place within a 100 miles yesterday, and her feets slipped out from under her. To bad she doesn't have 4 feets like ME so she'da had an easier way to stay upright. But she landed on her knee and scraped all of the bark off of it and hurted her ankle so it got all puffied up. So, I have been staying with her and watching every step (I really am) to make sure she doesn't so such a silly thing again. Silly mamma. She's getting better now that she got this stretchy thing for wrapping and a cold thing. I don't like that cold thing.
Here I am..just give out after all I did for her. But that's my job.

Beans can be so klutzy - now your week- end is going to be nonstop nursing waiting on you mom hand and paw. Be sure to take a lot of naps. Perhaps you could get her to open a few dozen cans of food so you don't starve bonks and bonks

Oh dear! I'm sorry your mom got hurted. Getting the bark off her shin and a swollen ankle is no fun at all! Peoples are very delicate. Good thing your mom has you to look after her! I hope she feels better soon.

Keep taking care of your Mom. I fell this week also and have half of my upper right leg has a black and blue ugly bruise that is very sore..Things happen when we least expect it. Parts of me are still sore.
