A Day of Rest

I have worked so hard to help Mom that I have declared a day of rest for me. (not her. It's still up and at 'em very early). I have kept her pinned down so her ankle would heal and I have worked so hard keeping her warm(er) and singing to her to keep her spirits up! So I am resting today and taking off my nurses hat finally after a week of keeping it balanced up there on my wee noggin.

Bonks and purrs.

It's about time! What if you overworked and started losing your floof? Total crisis!

You stuff that nurses hat where the sun don't shine (like under the sofa, waaaay in the back) and take a good long nap.

Admiral, You look so sexy with that nurse's hat! You know...I think I'm feeling just a tad under the weather...do you think you could drop by and soothe my fevered brow?

Hi Admiral!

We hope you are having a great weekend with your Mommy. :)

Bella told us that you were asking about how Maggie the Cat was doing, so we wanted to stop by to give you an update. Her appetite is back to normal, and yesterday, we started her back on a much-reduced dosage of methimazole for her hyperthyroidism. We will be watching carefully to see how she does at that dosage to make sure she does not have an adverse reaction. I she does, we will be exploring the transdermal gel option you suggested with the V-E-T. But so far, so good! :)

Love and nosetaps to you and Mommy,

Kevin, Tracey, Maggie, Sammy and Moosey
