My mom is going away for the weekend. I know she is and I'm sad because of that. I saw her red leather backpack and a large green canvas bag. She always has those out and puts things in them a few days before she goes far away.
She goes to see her boy who lives in NC. When she comes back I am always so awfully glad to see her. I come running to her calling loudly and she and I just stay on the floor together with me getting kisses and kisses, petting and lots of murmurs into my ears. More of that and then, she will get up and bring in her things.
When we go to bed..I hold her arm down with my whole body length, and I put my both hands into the palm of her upturned left hand and then, I lay my head on top my my crossed paws. I purr so loudly, just singing to her that she is back with me. I love my mom and she loves me too.

Oh, it must be hard on your Mommy to go. But she needs to see her human kitten, too.
We love that you hold your Mommy down and sing your special song to her. We just pin our Mommy down...
See you soon!
Yo! Admiral!! I got it!! I got it!! Come visit us!!! Oreo could use the company and Angel could use some female feline advice. Me? I'll just make sure nothin' bothers any of y'all! ~~Flash
Dearest Admiral, this is a totally unacceptable state of affairs but you make it sound almost worth the abandonment with your account of your Mom's sweet return and the love you share.
We wish your Mom a safe trip and swift return

Oh, Admiral, we can relate. When our momma and daddy go away, we get real sad, too. It sure is nice when they come back, isn't it? Purrs and prayers.
Road trip!
we gets furry sad, too, but us boys just gif our beans the cold shoulder when they returns so they knows just how badly they've hissed us off. only that dippy xing-xing sucks up to them; must be a girlcat thing. you really spoil yer mom wif that singin' business; our mom took special note of that an' started goin' on about how nice 4-part harmony would sound. HAH!
that is the sweetest post! we can't believe you let your person leave. We barely let our's go daily to her 'work' (so she says). We yell quite loudly when she returns in the evening reminding her how hard we 'worked' all day.
