Mom says I had better high tail it out to the open seas again soon. I think she was irritated by my blowing the fog horn from 6 onward this morning. Never a dull moment with me around.
No idea why I am doing that. Just seems like a good thing to do, I suppose.
She went out with a feller for lunch today and here she is back again. I can tell she's sleepy but Oh well. Better to hear me roar than not hear me at all. I am just keeping her appreciative of me. Some may say there are better ways to accomplish that but then, I'm just a sea faring Admiral with an eye for business and management. No time to come up with rationale. She'll have to deal and be glad she has me.

I am glad you let mom go out with a feller. Now search around and find a feller for me.

(Laughing sounds) Ruff, ruff ... ruff Oh, mercy dear Admiral. You get in trouble for the early morning wake up calls and I get in trouble for the middle of the night guard duties. I do all I can to keep the deer and other vicious creatures from the yard and I end up in the basement. The humans say they need their sleep at night. How can they sleep when creatures wish to invade the perimeter.
Secretly, I like the basement. Much warmer in there for my old bones. Ruff ... Grufff (the continued laughing noises)
I gather your Mom does not have an alarm clock? Just let her know you are playing the secondary role to make sure she awakens at the correct time. Aye, Aye Matey!
Oh MY! my mommy would be very cross with me if I did that! she would let out this big hiss-but I cannot help myself sometimes either!
