Begone, ye scurvy beestie!

That title is what mom said to me last night and this morning when I repeated my speech to her at 0630. She didn't go to bed till late last night as she and her oldest were learning functions of their new iTouch devices. And mom was downloading Apps from the Apple Store. Meanwhile, when she finally got to bed, she had a hard time falling asleep due to outdoor exercise and plenty of sunshine on her while she was out there. She said it was a great day and too bad I could not enjoy it with her. I hesitated to say that I was reposing in the sun the entire DAY...not for an hour or so as she did! So..who got the best of the deal..that would be me!

Meanwhile, she lay there sleepless but with her eyes closed and she must have dozed lightly finally because when I broke all the rules and came in there at midnight and meowed loudly two times, she jumped and I could tell she was hacked.

My middle name ain't "Stupid" so I hopped up and pretended that was my intent all along..to help send her off into peaceful slumber. She didn't buy it.

I walked up to her pillow and paid my head on her pillow with her..facing her. She cracked her eyelids open..I saw her do it! and saw the lump I make there in bed with my head next to hers. I know what gets her every time though. I got comfortable and then...and then...I stretched my two arms out fully and put my paw pads on her mouth. She always said after all of these years, she's not dead and her lips didn't fall off..so she just enjoys the warm pads I put there for her enjoyment. I had to pull out all the stops because I could tell from her reaction when I broke the night time rule of meowing..she was irritated. So, I hurried up to charm her with my sweet self. Works every TIME I tell you.

I didn't have to walk the plank..I wasn't unceremoniously thrown out and the door closed. Hey. Do I know how to work her or what?

Ruff ... Grruff .. Ruff (Laughing sounds) Mmm ... I have to say, I wouldn't fair so well. I don't fair so well. Cats have it sooo easy!! Now, during the day time if I break a rule, I just tilt my head a certain way, raise my eyebrows, and droop my bottom lip into what the humans call a frown. This makes my eyes look pitiful. One thing's for sure, Midnight bark better mean trouble because if there's not any trouble, I'm in trouble. Ruff .. Gruff ... Grroooruff (More laughing sounds) My paw salutes you, Admiral. I best be back to my patrol.

Dear Admiral,

I am not getting all of your updates so I am late commenting on this one.
I hope mom is feeling better today and that you don't catch her cold.
Have fun with her boys.

Hugs,
Beth

Oh yes, Admiral. You sure do know how to work that. I like your style too..."reposing in the sun the entire DAY". what a lovely way to spend the day. I'm going to try that one day and see if I can get it working for me.

I hope you and Mommie and the boys have a wonderful Thanksgiving.

Stay sweet, Admiral. btw...I love the story!
