Mom said the lens hood shadow is showing in this picture..she accidentally had it on Auto instead of A for Aperture and so the on board flash activated despite me facing into the driving afternoon sun. She corrected that for the next shot but meanwhile, she allowed this one to remain un deleted. She loves my feminine shape so displayed and my glossiness.

I almost felt sorry for her last evening. She had a good day and she was extremely active..in a great mood..felt fine and when she went to bed as happens too often she could not go to sleep right away. When she did fall asleep she later felt her eyes pop open in the dark and she looked to see it was 0300 hrs. She laid awake a long time but with her eyes closed, thinking. I did not come in to sleep with her. I know in retrospect that would have helped her relax.

However..she eventually fell asleep until I waked her at 0700. Some days are just like that. Some nights, that is. She has too many.

Yeppers, some nights are just like that. Eyes wide and mind racing on and on about "human stuff". I often wonder what that is too.
Hardly ever wake in the dead of night but when I do it is usually because of a dream, then pry open one eye, look at the clock, pull up the covers and go back to the dream. Sometimes far away train sounds wake me and I listen to the lonesome whistle that sounds like an old fiddle echo in the valley. I don't know. Oh yes, I do know that she sure does take very good care of you and in your turn you take good care of her. Rather like a cat can do. Or something like that. In the mean time, you know. Smile! and as ever be well

Admiral, tell mom that I didn't rest well last night either. Some goofy nightmare that stayed with me all night long.

You look extremely regal in the picture.

You behave now, you hear? Go snuggle with mom tonight and cheer her up.

Hugs,
Beth
