Just a Visit

Kitties,

I have been busy as have our other furriends who are with me at this side of the Rainbow Bridge.  We welcomed some dear kitty family members this past week and made them all welcome and at home with us. They come flying straight to us, knowing exactly where to land and exactly what coordinates.  The Stars are really shining brilliantly with all the precious fur family members that have arrived.  We all know our parents are out to find us.  They know exactly which Star belongs to their own baby, just as mommy knows which one is mine.  And which Star mommy sees is Robin's and none and then Hopping John's.  BooBoo and Jack's too, who was mommy's red hunting dog.  Katy, Blackie, and Smoky.  The first thing I meow to the new arrivals is that your mommies and daddies also know which ones are you.

Just wanted you to know they arrived safely and they are well and strong.

Thank You Furriends

My furriends, mommy and I thank you for the messages to her and Katie regarding my last journey.

It meant the world to her.  Friends mean the world, kitty, doggy and human.  Thank you.

I'm going to enjoy my beautiful day here on the Bridge and I think the first thing I'll do is swing by and pick up Sadie.  We'll have Sadieday right here on Wednesday.  Maybe Isabella would like to sit on the handlebars.  Ooops, nope.  Not now.  Way far away, then we will meet again.  Gonna pop a wheelie and I'm outta here!  ❤️

An Anniversary for Mom and Me

Three years ago this day in the afternoon, I flew away from mommy so quickly.  Mommy was devastated and inconsolable.  I could not help her as she had helped me by going with me as far as she was allowed to walk with me on that journey away from her.   I know she suffered so much that evening and all the evenings following.  She still does when she stops to remember me.  That is every day.

I could not have been loved more by anyone than I was by Mommy.  There was no tighter bond between cat and person than ours.  For I knew love and care and I returned that love and care back to her.  Every day.

I sent Katie Isabella to her within six weeks and they melded together as though they had always known one another.  It made me happy to see two dear souls happy again.  I gifted mommy with my preserved footprint  that same day when mommy picked up rescued Katie to take to our home.  They had failed to give mommy my paw print when she picked me up to bring me home those three years ago.  Mommy still can't look at that paw print even after these three years.  I know there are tears even now as she hears me whisper my words for today's blog from the other side of the veil that separates us.  For now.

I miss you too,  mommy.
